..Go Slow and use plenty of Oil !! pros- they cut some perty threads, are sharp and made from some good material Cons- tap and die handle tend to loosen up in use. the dies take a bit of fiddlin to get started straight. Not a bad set for occasional use or to chase threads.

Works great

I bought this to repair the threads on an office chair with threaded casters in cast legs. Worked great. The following week I retapped an arm on a miter saw stand. I’m just a carpenter who is generally handy— a tap and die set like this is something I should have bought years ago.

It works but you definitely get what you pay for its not gonna last I had a few taps break on the first run cleaning rust out of threads.

This set of taps and dies looks pretty good. Ive not had a chanceto use them yet , but on tbe surface they look like they will serve their intended purpose.

This seems to be a good quality product K nice carrying case all organized lots of pre shipping oil on them no rust and Ive used one of the taps four times now and it still seems to be nice and sharp.

Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product for the price paid.
