> 24 hourMy only quirk with this product is that the T-bar doesnt seem to allow taps that are too small or too large to fit into tight spaces.

> 24 hourThe problem with this set was there were no instructions or any information on using any of these pieces. Unsure of finding this information on the internet. Dont know the name of this company. Sent back one set and reordered and this one also had no information, only tools. Am going to try to find this info. Unhappy with this issue.

> 24 hourNo complaints about the taps or dies. The tools that come along with the set are usable but of low quality. But that is what should be expected at this price point. I will replace those pieces soon. Overall this is a good set for the DIYer. Good for light use.

> 24 hourExcellent value for money. Ive used mine a ton in the short time Ive had it. Honestly dont know how I ever got by without a tap and die set previously. I do a lot of work on cars and motorcycles and it has been a huge help.

> 24 hourVery impressed with overall quality. For the price it was definitely a homerun. Recommend to anyone looking for a quality tap & die set at a reasonable price.

> 24 hourI cross threaded one of the 1/4 inch lead/stainless hurricane shutter mounts in my cement block wall (here in Florida) and it would be a mess to pull it out and try to replace it. I was able to use the 1/4 inch tap to repair the threads and make the existing mount usable. The tap was able to cut metal on what I think is stainless steel in the mount. This was worth most of the cost of this set. As others have noted, the tools that go with this kit are 3rd world quality but the taps and dies themselves seem to be ok. This is a great kit for the homeowner but probably not for industrial use. Due to close quarters, I had to hold the tap with a pair of pliers to do the work, as there was no suitable tool to hold it supplied. As others have noted, after spending some quality time re-arranging all the tools in the case, I took the suggestion to add a piece of cardboard to the inside so that the tools would not bounce out of place anymore.

> 24 hourThe first tap I used broke. The first die I used was able to cut about three inches of threads and it was junk. This is low quality chinesium metal. Unless you are doing only aluminum or other really soft materials you shouldn’t buy these! I was cutting stainless.
