> 24 hourMy amp had shut down a couple of times for thermal protection when I really pushed it. This keeps things remarkably cooler. I didnt have enough room for a full size unit, so this smaller footprint fits nicely on top of my amp.

> 24 hourThis thing works perfectly. Wish I had known about this a long time ago. Just upgraded to a Denon AVR from an older still working Onkyo, concerned about heat build up in the cabinet so searched and found this little jewel. Wish I had this for the Onkyo receiver, that thing ran really warm, the Denon doesnt run as warm, but with the AIRCOM S6 with rear exhaust, the receiver isnt even warm...the fan is silent and only runs about 45 seconds at a time, and not very often. Very pleased with this, seems very high quality, even the packaging seemed that way. Highly recomended.

> 24 hourI wished there was a size between this and the 17 (too large for my Denon X2000 Receiver) but it does a great job of keeping the receiver cool (heat surpasses 87 degrees, which kicks the fan on quite frequently).

> 24 hourOn high, this fan keeps my big hot amp almost cold. Needless to say, I dont keep it on high.

> 24 hourI blew out two brand new pairs of outdoor speakers due to my receiver overheating. After replacing my receiver and purchasing this fan, I no longer have any issues with playing my music all and night at a high volume. So happy to finally put the overheating issue behind me because what I refused to do was to go without my outdoor speakers. What a journey!
