> 3 dayI bought this to add on to the top of my new to me mint condition Denon AVR-3310ci reciever (coming from a very out dated AVR-1609 with no hdmi). I wanted something to help keep the temps down since it is much taller and stouter than my old 1609 reciever. I had my old one as well as my new one in a somewhat open area on the bottom of my glass TV stand but it sits much much closer to the top of the glass and didnt have much room to breath at all. I took my measurements and just barely was able to squeeze this AIRCOM S6 in between the glass and the Denon. I however had to take the 4 pre assembled feet with rubber isolators off of the AIRCOM S6 to get it in there but it does not affect it. I put some much smaller rubber feet back on it that I had for misc things around the house. I must say I was reluctant to spend nearly $50 on this thing, being the tight wad that I am, but as soon as I fired this baby up I was so glad I did! Im here to say DO NOT HESITATE to purchase ANY of their products. I can only speak in reference to thing specifically but I would assume their next levels of cooling units only get better the more you go up and this S6 that I have is one beastly and the strongest built cooling unit I have come across. I expected it to be a frame of plastic with two generic low rpm 120mm fans thrown in it and that is far from what I received. This is a top notch add on for any Audiophile or Home theater enthusiast that is needing some extra movement in cool air. I cant even get my AVR to heat up on the most demanding songs or movies it stays completely cool and doesnt even get warm anymore. Before hand, it was getting so warm you didnt want to even touch it, this thing takes care of that without breaking a sweat. Sure it is a little loud on the highest setting but anything below the top level on the fan speed is more than tolerable. I always have a fan going in any room in my house so it blends in just fine! I have to say I am very pleased, I dont have but more than a couple days use on it but so far so good! I will write back in a month or two and see how its doing then and report back. If youre at all hesitating to click the buy button, DO IT NOW! Well worth the money in my opinion by far!

> 3 dayAfter using this fan for a couple of months I can rate its performance at 5 stars. My receiver is out in the open (not in a cabinet), so I was concerned about fan noise. The good news is that the lowest speed setting is quiet enough, so that you dont hear it from say a few feet away, and provides enough airflow to do its job. I used an infrared thermometer aimed at the part of the receiver that gets the hottest to confirm how effective the fans results actually are.

> 3 dayMy amp had shut down a couple of times for thermal protection when I really pushed it. This keeps things remarkably cooler. I didnt have enough room for a full size unit, so this smaller footprint fits nicely on top of my amp.

> 3 dayI decided to purchase this item after reading all the reviews. I was skeptical of this cooling fan system because I have a power amplifier that produces a lot of heat !!!! It is 600 watts per channel power amp. I honestly did not think this might help to lower the heat of the beast of an amplifier I use !!!! Hooking up was a breeze! Instructions were very easy to understand and the product looks solid. So, I set up the unit to run in auto mode. My amp has been hot for three hours prior to setting this thing up. amp was very hot to the touch!!!!!!! I let this unit run for about an hour and checked the heat emitting from the amp. I immediately felt it had become much cooler to the touch !!!!!!!!!!! I was very much impressed how this little machine could lower the heat of the amp by that much !!!!!!!!!!! I am very satisfied with the product. In a full-speed setting, this produces a little noise but if you are playing something loud, you would not hear it. But if you listen to music with quiet passages, you are going to hear a faint noise from the fans... Nevertheless, it is a very handy gadget to have if you own audio gear that can put out a lot of heat. I am pretty sure you will be able to use your equipment much longer if you use this !!!!!!!!!!!!! It is worth every penny and more. Plus the warranty is very generous for such a small product.. ( two years) I am glad I bought this. AC Infinity got a winner in their hands !!!!!!!!!!!

> 3 dayI added this to my media cabinet which I recently installed 4 S1 80mm fans in to keep my gear cool. The S1 fans are good, but I noticed temps at the case of my AVR were still getting high. With the fans at medium (2 intake and 2 exhaust) and the cabinet doors closed the temp of my Marantz chassis would get up to about 104 F. I added this, and I have it set to smart mode. Now the entire cabinet has good airflow, and my receiver also stays nice and cool.

> 3 dayI bought my second one to cool my separate amp in my home audio setup. These products work great. I can enclose mine in a unit with glass doors. On max I can hear it faintly, but disappears when I turn my stereo/home theatre on. If I was running these in an open cabinet I would probably buy a quieter model. Then again, in an open cabinet it would be running at lower speeds due to more air flow and be dead quiet. I only hear it when it blows on the maximum setting. Definitely keeps your equipment much cooler.

> 3 dayI am very happy with these cooling fans and bought one for each of my receivers. The low fan speed that cycles on and off seems to be enough to keep them from overheating.
