> 3 dayI have been involved in my own personal home theater setup and renovations for 20+ years. I am always looking for equipment to enhance my performance. This fan does the trick. I never realized how the temperature of my receiver fluctuates during routine use. This addition will help my equipment last longer. I highly recommend this to other enthusiasts.

> 3 dayNice slim design sits onto of my amp and cools the Bryston down nicely. really like the auto on auto off temp setting. Doesnt turn on till needed and shuts off when not needed.

Greater than one weekThe was not able to function automatically during the orange light. It still continued to rotate even when the unit is cool.

Greater than one weekI had a Denon AVR tightly fitted into my cabinet. It was getting warmer than I liked and didn’t have much air flow around it. This unit just barely fit on top. After I eliminated some of the cabinet backing, the rear exhaust has noticeably decreased the units normal operating temperature by as many as 10 degrees. I only hear it during quite scenes. I can definitely recommend but make sure you measure all clearances before selecting.

> 3 dayUPDATE: I just docked 1 star because I tracked down a noise issue to the power supply that comes with this item. While its impossible to avoid all noise in a system, you have to be very careful how you route the cord for this if you use the wall wart that came with it. It is the noisiest power source in my entire theater, and I will likely need to replace it.

> 3 dayI have two of these fans. I use them on heat-producing stereo equipment - receivers and power amplifiers. One is top-vented, and the other is rear-vented, and they both come on when they detect warm air, and run at increasing speeds with increasing heat. They are equipment savers, and I highly recommend them!

> 3 dayThis devise does just what it says it will do. It saved my system, I am running a high power Pioneer receiver, installed inside a cabinet, 4 sets of speakers with very long wire runs, unit was shutting down due to heat, amp error. This product solved the problem. I can not say enough good things about my AIRCOM A6.
