AC Infinity AIRCOM S6, Quiet Cooling Blower Fan System 12 Rear-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

Works very well. Very quiet and has different settings that are easy to use. This is my second cooling fan from AC Infinity. I use one for my PreAmp and this one is for my Amp. Low profile. Great buy.

Maybe for my cabinet a different fan set could have been better If I felt like mounting in and out fans, but with my additional duct the fans on this unit never go above half speed. Without the duct, it runs on full speed because it wont get the hot air outside of the cabinet. I made the duct using foam core and duct tape.

Works and you cant hear it unless you are within 4 feet.

I have not had a receiver for 15 years or so. I recently picked up one and some speakers I was done with sound bars (they kept on failing) placed it in my cabinet to be out of sight and it quickly overheated. When I last had one it was cool to show off your sound system nowadays everything is out of sight. The sound was great and it quickly overheated in the enclosed area of the cabinet. did the research to see why the unit was cutting off. Quickly found out that it was due to the enclosed area and overheating. Bought this item, Super easy installation. Set it up and blasted the sound. didnt cut off once. for the price this item does what it says , has a temp feature that turns it on when needed, and cuts it off when it does not need to be cooled. I would recommend this item. It is not as quiet as it says, but you can only hear it at low levels ( like 2 am in the morning when everyone else is asleep and watching tv, dosent distract or whelm but can tell when it is on but only then) other then that you can never tell when it is is running . Love it to keep the receiver in the cabinet and not out of sight. Have an Okyno nx tr 626.

I was concerned about the noise, with the home theatre playing you dont know this thin is on. Its very quiet, cools really well. It will drop the temp 20 degrees in a few seconds. Good purchase

Im very impressed with the quality and performance of the Aircom S6 and S8 that I purchased. They are fairly quiet at level 4 but I found that they cool my cable box DVR, a/v receiver and security camera DVR so well that a very quiet level 2 works well enough. After I installed the fans I touched the top of those components and they didnt even feel warm. They used to feel hot to the touch. These components are in an enclosed cabinet with the only ventilation in the back through the cable access holes. These fans blow the exhaust air out of the back well enough though. AC Infinity not only has an attractive product; the instruction booklet and even the box that the fan is packaged in shows the kind of quality that one would expect from a company that cares about providing a top quality product line.
