> 3 dayI set the unit on smart mode and my Xfinity DVR is now running a ton cooler than it did before. Smart mode controls the speed of the fan and the speed varies with the temperature. After a few hours the unit runs at low speed most of the time and it is so quiet that I cannot hear it running! Great product and very well built.

> 3 dayIm very impressed with the quality and performance of the Aircom S6 and S8 that I purchased. They are fairly quiet at level 4 but I found that they cool my cable box DVR, a/v receiver and security camera DVR so well that a very quiet level 2 works well enough. After I installed the fans I touched the top of those components and they didnt even feel warm. They used to feel hot to the touch. These components are in an enclosed cabinet with the only ventilation in the back through the cable access holes. These fans blow the exhaust air out of the back well enough though. AC Infinity not only has an attractive product; the instruction booklet and even the box that the fan is packaged in shows the kind of quality that one would expect from a company that cares about providing a top quality product line.

> 3 dayMy amplifier was overheating to the point where it was shutting off every 2 minutes and I was forced to put my bedroom fan into the closet to keep it from shutting off. Found this product and it works perfectly. Fits right on top of the amp and has a smart setting, where it increases or decreases the fan speed based on the current temperature. Runs quietly and we havent had an issue since.

> 3 dayDidnt know this existed, but glad it does! The cabinet I have is vented but the receiver still got hot. Not any more this unit does the job its made to do. I love the different setting. I use the auto mode cause it turns on when needed and off once its done. Just set it once and done. Makes a little sound but its not a problem. Ive had it for less than a week, so I cannt say much about how long it wiill last. Great so far!
