> 3 dayBe very careful to fully test this laptop before Amazons return window closes. Acer shipped mine with the MediaTek MT7921LE wifi card, and it would repeatedly fail to connect to access points, regardless of their proximity; when it did connect, it would manage 1-3Mbps, again when in the same room where other clients attach to the AP at 150Mbps or so. When I say research, Google that wifi card, youll see multiple problems described. Failed for me under both Windows as shipped and Linux Mint (either booted Live or installed from scratch). Windows failed whether using the Windows Update driver or the driver from Acers own web site. You should be okay if your laptop ships with an Intel or Atheros wifi card, but if its MediaTek Id be very wary. Only way (that I know of) to tell which device you have is to open Device Manager under Windows and check the details under the Network Adapter section.

Greater than one weekBought this laptop to run a weekly Zoom meeting. Sound output stopped working, now video won’t run. USB ports won’t recognize a mouse. Very little use, only use for the weekly Zoom meeting and it still broke. DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
