I typically do a lot of research on the go from my phone. I am one of those people who has a million tabs open for all the things Im either in the middle of researching, need to come back and research, or things I want to hold on to for later. Although I still do that, I finally got to the point where I wanted to have a bigger screen to be able to see things better and be able to type with a keyboard instead of the small keyboard on the phone. So when this Chromebook was up for grabs on Vine I jumped on getting it to try it out.

The screen would only come on when the top or side of screen was gently tapped or squeezed and that was only randomly. Something was obviously wrong with the laptop from the factory. From reading reviews several people have had problems with black screens either they never came on or they come on and go off.

We received our chrome book and the screen would not light up. I could use a flashlight to see what was on the screen and was also able to determine the touchscreen did not work. We researched a lot before buying this for our daughter and are beyond disappointed. I’m looking for ways to fix, we found many similar reports for Acer chrome books

Have had it for 2 months, so far it works fine. I had one already but it didnt have the touchscreen or backlit keyboard. However, this one does kind of lock up when doing certain tasks I have noticed whereas my old one didnt.

What l dont like some letters and number do not work. I dont

We got this for my daughter and it is just what she wanted. It is fast, the battery last a long time and the screen is beautiful!

Screen was great ..

Just shy of having this chromebook for a year, the display went black. The power was on however there was no display. Sent it in the ACER repair center where this did fix the problem. After mailing it back and checking to see if it worked, I put it away for the summer so my kid would not play video games. Took it out 4 months later when school started up again and he used it for 6 weeks when this problem happened again. It is now not under warranty- even though we sent this in previously, Obviously its a defect. They quoted me $249.00 to fix it. I wont fix it and I wont buy ACER products again.

I love my new Acer chrome book laptop I’m still learning how to operate it but so far is been easy and an enjoyable this is a fantastic product and if it does everything that I’ve been told is going to do I’ll be more than happy with it and I think you should know that the reason I bought this is because two of my very good friends have Azor computers laptops and they say they are the best
