> 3 dayHere we are, 1 month out of support and the touchscreen doesnt work, and the screen likes to shut off randomly and I have to try and figure out the magic combination of buttons to press to get the thing to start back up, but it seems to just be temperamental and turns on when it wants to. We try when its plugged in, it wont turn on, unplugged, nope. Tap the power button, hold the power button, close the monitor, open it back up... nothing. Then after 10 minutes or 6 hours try again and it works... I would not recommend this as searches now show me that the screen is a common issue.

Greater than one weekI hate this computer. If all you want to do is play games and surf the net, it might be okay, but for anything like real work, its useless.

> 3 dayThe Acer chromebook does what its supposed to do -- plus its fast and has great screen quality. The body construction is a little flimsy -- though it looks metal, its made of plastic. So far I havent tested its durability by dropping it or banging it against something hard (give it another month), but Im curious to see how it will hold up to regular wear.

> 3 dayGoogle has a way to go with these Chromebooks. Not an alternative to a PC or Apple laptop. Yeah, its a quick boot up, but so what. Most of the apps are just as limited as the ones for phones and not much different. Internet refresh speed is just not as fast as it needs to be. Lots of lagging to load up images and such.

> 3 dayI like the battery life of this device...the touch screen stop working after two months of use... There is no delete button, no right or left click option. Other than those three things I need in a laptop, this Chromebook serves a purpose.... I would not buy another unless they add a delete button, a proper working touchscreen, and a right click option.....the screen quality is great, movies look great on it...its very responsive,.... Im unable to cast to it or from it. The volume is great.

> 3 dayPurchased two of these on August 18, 2019, one for my wife and one for myself. Fast forward to August 2020. When I open it and it wakes the screen is purple and blank. I have to close it and open it again and when I do the screen is all staticky and has vertical lines running through it. I have to close it again to get them to go away. Dont expect it to last much longer. Typical Acer crap.

> 3 dayI ordered the Acer Chromebook 15, Intel Celeron N3350, 15.6 Full HD Touch, 4GB LPDDR4, 32GB Storage, Google Chrome, Pure Silver, CB515-1HT-C2AE, 15-15.99 inches so that I might have a lightweight portable travel laptop to enjoy and use for travel and at home. I have had some time with the new Chromebook and I would like to share a few thoughts and experiences with this particular model.

> 3 dayMy husband gave this to me. I’m sure he got it for all the right reasons- speed, memory. I only asked for a bigger screen than my dell laptop & to be able to use a flash drive.

> 3 dayBattery isn’t great; forty-five minutes, tops. But the laptop is a solid product otherwise. Loads super-quick. Programs run fine. Not a “gaming” system and didn’t buy it for gaming either. This chrome book was purchased for college and it has delivered!
