Good powerful laptop. The kids took it use hdmi on the there tvs to play there games and synced Xbox, PS5 controllers so they can play their game. They love the high speed and gaming they can do perfect if you do have room for a full set up.

So I had the older version of this laptop for years and did not have a SINGLE problem, sadly during transportation in my vehicle, the screen got hit and cracked, so I couldve replaced the screen, but figured I should upgrade to this one because the space on this is a bit bigger, and I think it was time. So I had high expectations for this one, and it definitely didnt meet them. I dont like that the backlight doesnt stay on anymore and you have to hit a random key for it to light up, and if you play in the dark, you dont know what youre hitting. No clue why Acer would do this and not add an option to keep it lit. The community even backlashed against it but they dont care I guess, anywho, when I try to type my pin to get in, it will say that my pin needs to be set up again, which it doesnt, and the way I have to fix it is by resetting my pin, or restarting my computer, both kind of annoying. It also keep freezing, its slow to change between tabs sometimes, and buffers ALOT. My old Nitro 5 never did that and was running like it was a top of the line PC. Kind of annoyed at it, the bluetooth is kinda iffy as well, I have bluetooth headphones and for some reason it auto connects to it when it feels like it, other times I have to manually connect them, it does this for all the pairs (3) Ive connected to it. I dont know, Ive never had headaches with the old model, but this one kinda bummed me out because I expected much more..

Venia todo perfecto en un embalaje que era imposible que viniera algun desperfecto, el portátil cumple con las expectativas con sobresaliente, muy bueno, la unica pega es que hay una pequeña mancha en la pantalla casi indetectable que hace que en ese punto se vea mas clara, quizas ya la pantalla venía así por que no creo que fuera por el empaque, debe ser cosa del proceso de fabricación justo en la que me enviaron por el resto perfecto.

Nueva, recién sacada de la caja y nunca prendió, simplemente no prendió ni un solo led, totalmente muerta

La computadora es muy eficiente, adaptable, con buenos acabados y muy buen rendimiento, lo mejor de todo es que es actualizable en sus componentes, con varios puestos de memoria, aun que se queda corto en sonido pero no es nada que unas buenas bocinas externas no resuelvan. The laptop would not charge when it arrived. This was not an issue with inserting the cable incorrectly as others have mentioned, but a battery issue. The laptop ran fine at first when connected to AC power, but would not actually charge the battery and would die when unplugged even after leaving to charge for hours before startup. The computer would think it was charging and the LED charging indicator would be lit, but it was not. I tried all of the typical software fixes like removing and re-installing the batter drivers, but it was a hardware issue. I was able to boot up from AC connection, but after trying to install the first round of software updates the laptop would not turn back on as it required 25% battery reserve to complete the update and turn back on, which obviously was not possible. Not acceptable for a brand new laptop.

I tried to turn on to install it. But doesnt have power at all. Suck!

bluetooth does not work on this model with windows 11, it does not let you play sound through anything but the speakers. it tells you it is connected to the bluetooth for voice and music but automatically mutes the music and will not unmute unless you go back to speakers, or it just crashes if you keep trying to unmute. it does not let you uninstall drivers or remove devices, they just reappear when you restart, and eventually it will crash and shut down if you keep trying to get it to use the bluetooth for audio output. this is apparently a problem with Windows 11 and bluetooth that has no solution. so if you really want to play music or whatever with your computer, stay away from Windows 11 computers until they fix this problem. apparently it has existed for many months already though.
