Started to show blue screen in every 5 or 10 minutes after 3 days i started to use the computer. I was thinking to send it back but after a couple of search in internet, i found the solution in a site. If you have the same problem you need to download Intels ssd toolbox and update the firmware version from 001C to 004C (you can check your firmware version by using Intels driver & software page, but be aware that it says there is no available update for 001C. but ssd-toolbox is updating it) . After i updated the firmware it looks fine for now. Computer is fine but due to problem i had, i will not give 5 stars... Acer should be the one who fixes it, not us...

Works fine for maybe the first few months-- but after that youre in for trouble. After less than a year, I began to have severe fps drops for no apparent reason. Not showing any clear relation to excess heat or any other common issue. The corner of the top part of the laptop comes off every time I open it. The keys surfaces have

Hello: just bought this.. Had it for 8 days. Install a second hard drive a Samsung SSD (1 T) very easy install. Comes with a Intel 256 GB M2 SSD that reads at 1070 MB /second. Fastest drive I have ever seen. No seriously ..It is impresivelly fast. I am old enough to remember hard drives that read 2MB/sec and were consider fast (LOL, ;) ) .. From boot to desktop in 9-10 second including the time it takes to put the pin number in. Comes with Win 10 64 bit Home edition. Had usual Microsoft Games bloatware ..had those uninstall from the start. Has Trial version of Norton antivirus and Office 365 (also got uninstall) took crap Fake news MSNBC out (uninstall) put Norton (my own) and Office 2016. Needed to do Win 10 upgrade to latest version, that took some time. Install latest drivers (Nvidia and others). Install Pinnacle 22, Photoshop elements 10 and Steam (with some of my favorites games). Itunes and transfer my music and move the main folders pictures, documents video and music to Samsung SSD (runs at 300-340 MB/sec) and now fully set up. Games play great.. Very High and some in Ultra High. Monitor is 144 hrz but most games run at 60 hrz max, of my Games only Call Of Duty World at War runs at 144 hrz. Frame rate is constantly 60-70 frames/min Monitor is very good but not great (weakest point up to now). Very good investment for the dollar. Durability will be discussed in 4-5 months. Will revisit...If I dont revisit means is good..

I use this laptop heavily for games like rainbow six siege and destiny 2, and I was constantly having issues with lagging and throttling, this was because the temps got up to 80 after just a little bit, and 95+ after a couple hours of play, i then undervolted it by -125 milivolts and now it consistently still hits around 100 frames in game, but them temp stays from 55-60 even after hours of play, and more importantly it doesnt throttle, if this wasnt an issue in the first place it would be a 5 star rating because this laptop has insane power and speed and is such good quality after tweaking it a little bit

Battery life sucks, but other than that, no complaints.
