> 3 dayLooks great will write a follow up if I have further problems or outstanding praise. Right out of the box it would not boot up. After plugging in and pressing the power button, the screen would blink and I would hear the fan cycle. Blank screen. After some research I found the solution. Had to reseat the RAM cards. Now it powered on and Im setting it up. Hope this helps if someone else has a similar problem. Frustrating that it came to me not functional.

> 3 dayEs una laptop que vale lo que cuesta, muy buena potencia y duracion de la bateria, ademas de que es visualmente placentera con un acabado que no deja nada que desear.

> 3 dayIm sure that I just happened to get a dud, but I barely have used it since I got it because the screen flickers whenever I run anything on it. I can only game for 20 minutes at a time.

Greater than one weekGREAT laptop for the money, no argument here. Cooling is there, but there is a lot of horsepower that produces A LOT of heat. I would recommend a laptop cooling pad when you game.

Greater than one weekI wish I could recommend this laptop, especially considering the specs offered for the price. My experience has been consistent stuttering, consistent overheating, and general underperformance even when undervolted. Ive tried everything I can think of, and while Im not an expert if youre looking at the reviews and thinking oh, an undervolt should solve everything well, youre wrong. Or maybe I just got really unlucky, because it has done nothing to resolve the thermal throttling on my unit. I use a cooling pad, I tried undervolting, tweaking settings based on other users suggestions, nothing helped. Even games from 2010 and earlier have the same issue. I dont know what happened, and I wish I could get my money back/a replacement. Spend you money, take your chances, but Im telling you right now, it didnt pan out for me. I probably wont ever purchase another Acer product because of it, after having been a pretty big fan of the Aspire E-15 prior to this. IF YOU WANT THIS FOR GAMES, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

> 3 dayLighted screen is red color only. Computer only used for watching videos, E-mail and movies. Computer completely died after 13 months but I fortunately paid a lot of extra money for the 4 year extended warranty. After a lot of B.S. from the warranty company, my son (who they couldnt fool) got them to accept the computer back for service. Bottom line it was a hardware not software problem. They totaled my unit and refunded the purchase price minus the $189.00 warranty cost and tax.

> 3 dayFor the money this a good laptop. I like the empty compartment for a 2.5 HDD. So far my only negative opinion about is the layout of the keyboard keys. The number pad is poorly designed and steps away from the standard layout as the number zero is one key space to the left than the Standard.
