I like to wear ear plugs when I ride my motorcycle but there’s a trade off: when I use the ear plugs I cannot hear my in-helmet music or GPS. So these bone conductors are a great workaround!

Ive been using these daily for several months, and can say theyre great... except.

Where I go kayaking you need to be aware of your surroundings. One place I visit can get narrow and you want to make sure you’re not in the way of someone calling out who wants to pass and another place has a few wave runners that will pass by. They go slow but I like to get well out of the way.

After owning this headset for 10 months, I have noticed that it is frequently causing the phone to go to regular handheld mode, though staying BT connected to the phone. Note - I am always within 10 feet of the phone when using Bluetooth. I own several pairs of various brand Bluetooth headsets, but this one is (sadly) my favorite. I have spoken with Apple support, and they are pointing at the Aftershokz headset as being the problem.

My friends have Aftershokz. Bought my own and now I know why it is so popular. I use it for MTB and yardwork.

These are amazing for cycling. I ride in a high traffic area with no bike lanes. The drivers around are unsure how to drive around cyclists. As a result wearing standard headphones or earbuds is dangerous. These are a great alternative, I can hear cars while still listening to audio books or music. This ability has prevented several wrecks with careless drivers.

This has changed my worklife for the better! I bought them so that I could focus on my work at hand, while being able to receive and answer calls from coworkers and supervisors. Incredibly easy to use, lightweight, and good quality. My only complaint is that I still have issues trying to have it pick up google voice commands with my phone; however, I think that its more of my phone rather than the head set. It is worth the price point, and I highly recommend buying it.
