Aftershokz Aeropex Mini (Rebranded as Shokz OpenRun Mini) Bone Conduction Wireless Bluetooth Headphones

These are wonderful. Im an avid runner, & its great to beam able to listen to my music in both ears, yet also hear traffic. I have always just had 1 earbud in, & the other free to listen for cars, trucks, etc. These are fantastic!

I had the first pair for a year and the second didn’t even last 3 months with no returns after 30 days

THE GOOD:

I like that these dont go in my ears. They also work with movies on my ipad. Lips r in sync.

Bass is still bad, pretty much as the old version not much different. Need to more loud and bass. And sound quality is ok.

Tl;dr - Overall, an incremental update to the Trekz Air, but still an excellent product for outdoor activities.

I had these headphones only for 2 months before they quit working. Ive tried to contact the company to return them but they are uncommunicative. Theres a good chance Ill never see my money again. DONT DO BUY THEM

I was blown away by these. This was my first pair of bone conducting headphones and they’re quickly becoming my favorites. There is indeed no heavy bass, but the range is very nice. It was reviewed at playing 60hz-1400hz. That’s essentially like losing the lower 1/6th and the top 1/5th of a piano’s range. The sound is clear but not high pitched or harsh. I find them to be incredibly comfortable to wear. Fell asleep with them on the other night and when I woke up the battery was still at “medium”. I love that I can listen to headphones and still stay connected to the world around me. If you’re looking for heavy bass however, bone conduction doesn’t seem to be the way to go. It produces more of a strange vibration vs a sound. I turn down the bass lvl to listen to these. I absolutely love deep, heavy bass. But I’m not at all disappointed with the sound quality from these.

These are very comfortable to wear, the batery is great i used it all week without having to charge, and people Ive called have said they could hear me perfectly. The only thing that could be improved or changed is the placement of the answer/hang up button takes me a minute to find it, but im sure Ill get used to it. I cant express how comfortable these are.

I purchase as a gift for person with hearing problems. He said the product was amazing!
