These tools are just too stiff to work with. Both did not have enough ‘give’ in the teeth to go in between any of my coils. I was not able to use for my truck or AC unit

Get a better brand then this one is junk not woth the money.Paper thin plastic handle on brush breaks easy stay away from it.

Purchased this along with coil cleaner for my home outdoor AC unit. The brush was crucial to remove tons of built up crud, and the hard wired brush was great to bend fins back into position. Anyone complaining about the hard wired brush, there is a plastic sleave that you DO NOT take off! It is to hold the metal brushes together. Slide it up for a tighter brush. I dont understand how people have bent brushes, aluminum fins are extremely delicate and brushing them GENTLY bends them back into shape. This is a brush, its not meant to fit between the fins. Good product overall.

15 minutes on and off my myself.

The brush worked fine, but the metal comb was terrible. All but two of the prongs were completely stuck together. Not tightly compacted, they were stuck together. It took 20 minutes to pick them apart. And then the comb fell apart. The prongs fell out of the handle in clumps. There was no adjusting that could be done.

Worked great! anyone cleaning coils would appreciate these.

I was nervous about buying this product after reading many of the reviews. Not putting those people down they just didnt quite know what they didnt know. There are no instructions and I can understand seeing all the combs stuck together might seem like its not supposed to be like that. One reviewer claimed they were soldered together. Theyre definitely not soldered together the reason they are stuck together is that they are all cut with a sheer while they are in a bunch and this is likely specifically done so that the combs dont start going in all directions they stay nice and neat if theyre stuck together. They also have a plastic piece that will help keep the combs stuck together if they do happen to start coming apart. They are definitely meant to be stuck together. Do not pull them apart! Its extremely easy to use. Just rake it up along the vent without a lot of pressure and whala all the gunk is gone. Then follow it up with the soft brush and youll get a little bit more removed. Then I recommend using a foam ac vent cleaner and then rinse with water. It will be like brand-new after that process.
