More the first month I had this and the SN30Pro I had a hard time finding any flaw. While the pro is great for my retro game and metroidvania needs. Its does cause discomfort after just a few hours on and shooter or AAA title. The pro+ is great for extended periods of time and after 6+ hours of sweaty Apex Legends I have zero discomfort. Smaller than the xbone controller and just slightly larger than a PS controller in where your palms rest. The ultimate software is awesome for quick swaps of almost anything but has a learning curve when it comes to the macro. As well as the semi/full/burst fire options. Theres not really a definitive guide to the software either so expect to sink time into learning it. My only problem came around a month after owning it. When all of a sudden I started getting really delayed inputs on bt as well as full presses of the joystick from partial presses. Like it had become sentient or something. After a week of this happening every 5 min or so I reached out the their amazing support team. Which helped me fix the problem right away. As I write this the most recent software v4.01 fixed all my issues and Im back loving this controller.

Purchased this controller to get away from my clunky PC/Android emulation setup (DS4Windows on PC, OTG cable for Android). Controller felt great in my hands and handled well aside from a bit of play in the Dpad. A month later started seeing left analog stick drift. I could work it out by rotating the stick a few times before use. As of yesterday the Dpad has become completely unusable with dpad rolling and constantly phantom inputting. I am a heavy user (everyday for 2-6 hours and easily 8+ on my days off) but my PS4 controller has been used the same for years and its just fine. I contacted support and was told they have no facilities in the US and Id have to send it to them in China to get it replaced. Unfortunately with the cost and current state of the world thats pretty much not happening. If you choose to buy this, it is a great design and really comfortable for long gaming sessions but given my experience I cant recommend it for any long term use.

this is another wonderful controller by 8bitdo. the feel is beyond wonderful, the sticks are smooth and the bottom triggers have variable strength gauges, like the old game cube controllers

Love the charging cord. I don’t love the hand-feel. It synced to the PC as a Nintendo Switch controller which is great.

Ive been an 8bitdo user for quite some time and love their controllers. With the launch of the V2 controller, I purchased this to update mine. Is as comfortable as the first version, but mine arrived with a joystick drift. Update: Ive been playing with this for a week. I dont consider myself a strong person, but somehow a piece of plastic teared out of the controller as I was using it. As you can see in the image, it doesnt look like I dropped it, all the surrounding plastic is fine, it was really random. To the touch, this clear plastic does feel cheeper than the retro gray one i have, but I didnt expect it to break after a week. Im sad and disappointed.

It worked well at first. But it has issues. The 8bitdo website offers a few FAQ but it it doesnt work you have to figure it out yourself. I had a problem where my computer couldnt recognize it. It was stuck with a flashing red LED on top and no amount of holding L + R + Start or Start or any combination or plugging it in could get it to register on my PC. I went to reddit and many people suggested taking out the battery and putting it back in. Unfortunately, this ended up killing the controller completely for some reason. Other people seem to have had similar issues. Anyways, proceed with caution. It sucks because it frequently has issues so its either try to fix it yourself or it doesnt work. I will not be buying another one to replace it. Updated: got it to work again. I have no idea how or why. Like I said, very temperamental controller. It is a good feeling controller, its a shame it acts up so much. At this price point, hard to fullheartedly recommend.

I really wanted to love this thing! Build quality is excellent and the design is so freaking cool but if you have smaller hands, or are very used to a PS4 controller, this just simply isnt comfortable. The placement of the joysticks caused a lot of strain on my thumbs. Also felt I was reaching too far for the shoulder buttons.

Absolutely fantastic controller. Ive used it for around a month now for my switch, PC, and iphone. Its extremely easy to connect, has amazing battery life and the material quality is great. The only con I have is that for certain games the stick rubber could use a grippy-er pattern for quick movements. All in all I highly recommend it!

Been using this mostly for my Nvidia shield Pro (2019) and this controller feels so good. The button mapping is such a great feature as well, the only thing I wished they changed was to allow you to add different profiles for different games. Other than that, would buy again, will in a few days..

Feels great, has no issues, pairs up with no issues, can even use it on my computer.
