Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This was purchased for the: SABRENT 2.5 Inch SATA to USB 3.0 Tool Free External Hard Drive Enclosure but the case is just 1/2 too small to fit enclosure lengthwise.

I use these cases (Ive purchased four, so far) for protecting my Western Digital My Passport Ultimate 2 TB external hard drives. I use the drives both for backup and for traveling, so I appreciate a good, sturdy case. The AmazonBasics case fits the drives, the pouches, and the USB cables almost perfectly. One side of the case has a mesh pocket that I use for the cable and the opposite side of the case has an elasticized band that holds the drives in place.

The faux ballistic nylon has a nice texture and the molded plastic frame is very flexible but rigid enough to protect my drive. I have a WD Metal drive which fits with plenty of room to spare inside. The mesh pocket for the cable is very spacious as well. If youre looking for super svelte, however, this case isnt the one. It bulks up your drive a lot, but thats obviously in return for cable storage and great protection. Only concern: the flexible rubber zipper pull is really flimsy and looks like it could tear off or even melt off.

This case fits My Passport hard drives including the 2 TB. It provides great protection though its light weight. The drive is held in place with an elastic strap, and the cable fits in a mesh pouch. I appreciate the pouch because its a reminder to put it in the case! (I tend to forget cables...)

Bought this for my WD 2TB Berry My Passport Ultra Portable External Hard Drive and it fits it great.

this amazon case works well for the MAC WD hard drive that I purchased it for.. It seems to be pretty durable so far.. The hard drive fits in there perfectly giving it that little added protection.

This was a great little case for my 1TB Western Digital passport + cable. I use it to carry the drive around in my backpack with my Macbook Air. Buy it.
