Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

> 3 dayAdding a wall adapter power supply would likely be a tough squeeze so I wouldnt recommend it for an eSATA drive if it needs a wall adapter. 2.5 eSATA drives powered by USB should be fine.

> 3 dayGreat case and it fits two of my portable hard drives well. Although durable if not abused, it only offers only mild protection and I wouldnt count on it for protection from extreme conditions of shocks and drops. Nevertheless it should fit the bill for the most of the road warriors. Like the ability to simultaneously connect 2 portable drives to my PC while the drives are in the case. I project the the drives out a little bit for ventilation. Works great and as expected for both Toshiba Canvio and WD MyPassport.

Greater than one weekThis is the perfect size and offers plenty of protection. I use to carry my external drive in the box it came in and just felt stupid doing that and passing it to friends to borrow. Picked this up and couldnt be more happy. I fell better letting people borrow the drive because it is more protected and doesnt look as bad as in the old beat-up box.

> 3 dayIt costs a buck or two more than the Western Digital soft case but the added peace of mind from the hard sides make it worth it. I have used it daily for several months now and it still looks new.

> 3 dayI bought both sizes to make sure I had one that would fit my various drives snugly, and the smaller one wont fit any of the generic mobile drives I have. The larger one fits every one of them except for the one that has a built-in USB hub. I wont be returning the smaller one, as it functions perfectly fine as a case, I just may need to dig for something I can put in it (a camera maybe?). I just wish they had different colors (or some kind of label, on the zipper or something) so I could tell which drive was in which case.
