Perfect, secure fit for my WD Passport Ultra...has room for the cord as well. The hard case along with a secure, interior fit would seem to provide much protection against most damaging situations. Highly recommended...High value in my opinion as well!

Fits my Seagate slim external hard drive well. Bought it just for that so the hard drive will not be bumping around in my bag. I travel a lot so this is slim and light enough for packing even with the drive in it. Looks well made. It is not very hard but offers enough protection if used in a backpack. Had the zipper stick on me the second time I opened the case. Didnt happen again. Time will tell about the durability. Satisfied with my purchase.

Nice case for all those little USB drives (WD/Seagate/Toshiba). I have about eight of them, and all do the job well. Elastic straps on both halves hold your drive in place (some a little more snug than others), as well as the USB cable. Solid construction for the price and general bumps, drops, and weight on top. Great buy.

I love this case from AmazonBasics. The WD passport fits like a glove, with the cable nicely wrapped on the other side. The case is quite sturdy and feels more like a hard case. It will protect your HD just fine.

Great case and it fits two of my portable hard drives well. Although durable if not abused, it only offers only mild protection and I wouldnt count on it for protection from extreme conditions of shocks and drops. Nevertheless it should fit the bill for the most of the road warriors. Like the ability to simultaneously connect 2 portable drives to my PC while the drives are in the case. I project the the drives out a little bit for ventilation. Works great and as expected for both Toshiba Canvio and WD MyPassport.

I ordered another carrying case since I wasnt sure which one would be a fit. I opened this one first, and the case fit the WD passport USB 3.0 perfectly and the cost was a deal!
