If there is a corner in your house that needs multiple outlets and you want to control the appliances separately, this is the perfect solution. I can’t go back to the days without it. Only concern is I can’t use Alexa when internet is down.

I have a number of Amazon smart plugs and they all work really well with Alexa. I wanted to put smart plugs on two lamps and a dehumidifier. I wanted to be able, in particular, to control the dehumidifier when away from home. I did not have enough outlets in that location. So this worked great - each plug functions independently of the others, but as they are in the power strip I did not have to struggle with not enough outlets.

I was going to buy a wifi extender since my new cable router is a smart cable router that my old smart home plug wouldn’t work. I wanted to connect my new lamps to Alexa.
