Amazon Basics Smart Plug Power Strip, Surge Protector with 3 Individually Controlled Outlets and 2 USB Ports, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Works with Alexa

I may have selected that the device was integrated to my account at purchase, I can’t remember. But it connected to my acct right away when I plugged it in & I was able to access it on my Alexa app on my phone. Easy to use by just turning the plugs on/off in the mobile app. I haven’t figured out to connect it by verbal commands, I hope that’s possible because that was my initial plan.

Super cool. Easy to setup on Alexa and create custom names. Alexa - turn on/off patio lights, fence lights, Christmas tree, Santas Sleigh. You can also setup timers but havent done that yet. Yard lights usually only for party which can be early night or early morning.

A reliable cord with 3 individually controlled plugs. Have no complaints.

Love this easy to set up and use each plug has a different name (blender, air fryer and, coffee machine). Only thing I would love to se on it that it doesnt have would be surge protection/ circuit breaker.

While I couldn’t get the QR code on the user’s guide for this Amazon Basics Power Strip to work, this still took only a couple of minutes to set up. The QR code on the power strip did work, which made setting this up from within the Alexa app very easy. This is really handy for a room that I have with minimal outlets. I can now run extra lights and actually see what I’m doing in there. Even nicer, I can turn them on and off with a simple spoken command. This is the 2nd Amazon Basic product I have bought that doesnt really work. Well lets say its unreliable. First product was a light bulb. I was thinking it was too far from the router. This strip outlet is in the same room as the router as it is just as unreliable as the light bulb.

We have tried other smart plugs and were completely frustrated with the connection to our Echo Show. But this one finally worked perfectly! I don’t normally write reviews but this was such a breath of fresh air! Thank you for such a wonderful product that actually did exactly what is what it is supposed to do! I highly recommend it! I’m actually returning a different brand and buying another one of these power strips again! Thank you!!!

The product works well once you get it setup. Instructions could be more detailed however eventually linked with Alexa and has been very helpful for seniors in the home.

I’m so happy I got this power strip. Now I want more.
