This item randomly disconnects from ALEXA. It isnt the internet or everything would disconnect. When it works, it works fine.

The product works well once you get it setup. Instructions could be more detailed however eventually linked with Alexa and has been very helpful for seniors in the home.

So, I got this because it works with Alexa and you dont have to have a hub to use it. Just plug it in and Alexa can find it and connect with it! It took me a minute to get the whole individual outlet figured out when trying to use an Alexa routine that turns one outlet on and another one off, but once I got that figured out this works great! I dont like how each outlet has a light as well as an actual light for the entire unit itself, but I bought dimmer stickers and it blocks those out. I do like there is a button for each individual outlet, or you can push the master button to either turn all on or turn all off as well. Also like that it has 2 USB ports so you can charge your phone and tablet without using up any of the outlets! This has performed well for me so far!

Who would have imagined that Id be writing a review about a power strip but my experience with this new strip from Amazon Basics has me all excited. First and foremost, it simply does exactly what you would hope it would: provide control over three independent sockets remotely using Alexa. I plugged it in, skipped reading the instructions, and it showed up immediately on my Alexa app, as three separate plugs. I did the standard Alexa app configuration for smart home devices (really simple, really fast, basically just giving them names and assigning them to a room). Setup took less than five minutes and was simple and intuitive. The strip also includes two USB sockets which is also super-convenient. For example, a wireless charging pad can plug into one and a direct USB-Lightning connector in the other. The Amazon product team deserves a big pat on the back for creating a product that does exactly what you would want it to, and fast and easy. And the price is great, only slightly more than the single plug option. I highly recommend this product. It is exceptionally well designed.

Its pretty good and works great with the Echo 5, plus it was quite simple to get it connected, even for someone like me who never used this type of devices

Been using this daily since we got it in December, but has recently (as in the last two days) taken to tripping and shutting off every half hour or so. Nothing else has changed as far as what we have plugged into it, and everything works individually or when theyre all plugged into a non-smart extension chord, so I have to assume something went bad in this one.

We have this plugged into our wall and microwave that cant reach the outlet plugged into it. If the microwave goes on lumber that 2 mums it will pop the surge protector without fail. Every time. I like that it works but I feel like I still got a defective one with how often it pops.
