i was doing an upgrade from the f.e 2060 super to the 3070ti, strix b450-f to the b550-E and 3600 to the 5600x, everything worked seemlessly, i was able to use the 3600 in b550-0E until 5600x arrived and than i just swapped them out without even needing to update the bios which really made for an easy fast installation without ricking bricking my mobo with updating the bios. i would def recommend this cpu over the 3600 unless you buy the 3600 used off ebay where you could save 100 u.s or more.

Purchased a Ryzen 5 5600x for my sons computer. Long story short, computer was assembled but was sidelined before it was operational. Now several months later its up and running and the kid is having issues with gaming (B550 MB, 2x8GB RAM, 3060ti, and the 5600x). After some tinkering my sons say the computer CPU is saying 3100. ??? Had him download CPU-z and sure enough... 3100? Go into bios... 3100. So I go find the box (Ryzen 5 5600x) and the amazon order (Ryzen 5 5600x)? Order says sold by Amazon.com Services LLC... returned item possibly that someone scammed them/me on?

I called to see if they would honour a 30-day money-back guarantee and just send me a code since I had just missed the promotion by days. I was told NO. You will need to buy a new one and send the old one back. I was not impressed but did just that anyway.

I upgraded from an i5 4690k that was OC 4.4ghz really fast for how old it was beat i5 7600ks but the upgrade to 5600x you can feel the latency difference way faster doing anything the stuttering i got on newer games gone and i havent even clean installed windows yet.
