Furiously is how it attacks these games. Im using an older Graphics card because of the unreal costs right now and it is seamlessly running todays games at a VERY acceptable framerate.

I upgraded from an i5 4690k after doing a lot of research between Intel & AMD. While AMD has traditionally been fine for computers for my kids, I always preferred an Intel (minus a AMD 965 build I did years ago). Bottom line, Intels just gamed and aged better... then came Zen 3.

Best mid range processor for gaming as well as light to medium work loads. But slightly overpriced due to pandemic.

Ottimo processore, lho abbinato ad una scheda madre MSI B550 Tomahawk e delle ram Ballistix 2x8gb. Questa versione X ha il dissipatore stock. Prezzo ottimo in rapporto alle performance. Consiglio se intorno ai 300€.

Works great but I highly suggest replacing the stock fan with something else. The stock fan is VERY loud. I went with a Noctua and can hardly tell the fan is running even when the RPMs increase.

Built a new PC, pairing a 5600x and an rtx 3080. CPU worked for a week and performance was amazing, getting 100+ fps in all games at ultra settings with RTX on. Then it began to blue screen constantly due to a page fault in nonpaged area (memory) and would not post to windows - barely posted to the bios. Showed my local computer repair shop, they tried a different 5600x which posted and they were able to stress test it. I was able to get the defective CPU replaced from Amazon immediately, so kudos to them for good customer service.
