AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Dont buy from Amazon, they ship it with zero protection. Mine came with the box crushed and pins bent on the CPU. Great processor though.

I have always owned flagship desktops for the past 20 years. All of which have been custom built. But AMD RUSHED this product to the market. Running an Asus x570 Strix and i have never had so many problems with a single piece of hardware in my life. I have been using a 3600x for the past few months. I purchased it on the cheap end purposely waiting for the 5000 series. I was able to snag this while my 5800x is currently on backorder. This cpu has caused my memory to not properly read. Asus aura refuses to work at all. my pc is stuck spewing out random hideous colors i didnt think it was capable of. the software wont even launch. i have reformatted used the same exe i have had saved on a flash drive. ive tried multiple bios and nothing seems to work. There is over 10k sitting here on this desk and ASUS and AMD make me wanna smash it all.

Got a bad one, then did some reading and turns out that many people have gotten bad ones. The other problem is the bios flash for the board in the new build Im doing IS NOT REVERSABLE once it has been flashed for the 5000 series. I should probably send that back also, at least until my faith is restored in AMD.

I upgraded from a Ryzen 2600X which is still a great processor but this 5600x is even better! The single and multi threaded performance is amazing. I have an MSI X470 motherboard so Im missing out on PCI Express 4.0 but its worth it as I didnt have to upgrade my motherboard. All I had to do was update the BIOS. Thanks AMD for using the AM4 socket for 4 generations!

Surprenant tant sur la puissance, la maîtrise de la chaleur, la capacité d’overclock. Combiné avec une B550 Gaming Plus de chez MSI pour moi et de la ram en 3200MHz le tout est super ! Meilleur processeur de la génération rapport qualité/prix foncez !
