AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

This chip is a massive beast. It will make your ram and ssd feel slow with how quickly it tears through workloads. I use it for statistical analysis and for encoding video and the integer performance is absolutely incredible. Works out of the box on Ubuntu 20.10 without any issues. This thing is the best chip you can get on a micro atx and its absolutely incredible. Could probably benefit from a lot more L3 because its just too fast for even the fastest ram kits out there.

Way Overpriced considering performance per dollar. Also it doesn’t boost to advertised clock speed and has little headroom to overclock even with expensive liquid coolers. My USB port also occasionally stop functioning. Disappointed.

Best CPU in the world right now. As for creator and gamer like me its THE BEST one!

1) At first, experienced disappointment with Cinebench. Apparently quite common. The problem was _me_ trying to under-volt the thing. Properly set-up, it does what you fantasize it will; it crushes, kills, and destroys.

Love the 5950 I have two of them. One for a gaming pc with 6900xt and one for my unraid server. Good temps and tons of cores!

Great cpu when you can get them. Seller was fast and honest.

Currently using with msi x570 ace, this processor is fast but I will say it does run pretty warm. I highly recommend using a good aftermarket cooler and undervolting this thing if you dont want thermal throttling.

Don’t buy this it’s a scam, I’ve never written a review in my life till now I recently received my AMD Ryzen 9 5950X about a week ago and me thinking it was Legit turned out to be 100% fake I was wondering why it wouldn’t post and it would overheat and the pins don’t Don’t even match with the real 5950x

Intel is still giving us 8 cores and you know you need to buy a separate CPU

The original label from AMD clearly states it is a 5900X, it is re labeled to be a 5950X. The heat spreader on the CPU itself is labeled 5900X.
