> 3 dayIt’s a beast. Watch your PCIe settings in BIOS though. On initial AMD 5,000 series installs, I’ve been getting the VGA light. (X570 & B550 boards). This has happened to me a few times now. It’s only on new builds. The fix is to put the old cpu in and change the PCIe setting in BIOS.

> 3 dayUpdate: Ended up continue having issues, returned and had to reinstall windows. Looking at the current threads, it looks like people with Asus hero boards (also dark) are having issues, so I would try a different motherboard.

> 3 dayHoly hell. Guys, pro tip, learn how to use curve opimizer and Ryzen Master with a good motherboard. I was getting 4.6 all cores with boosts up to five. Man does AMD keep knocking it out of the park.

> 3 dayPaired with capable ram the 5950x lives up to all the hype and then some. Without overclocking Im seeing above average benchmarks compared to other 5950x users. Im using 2 sticks of 32GB Corsair 3600mhz CL18 ram. With full liquid cooling temperatures peak at around 60c.

> 3 dayPretty decent handling and the temps aren’t too bad. Can run hot at times so want to make sure you have a decent amount of air flow.
