OMG these went right into the slots and the sliding door is as good as new who would have thgough?

These bottom replacement wheel assembly for my Anderson sliding screen door (that came with my Anderson sliding patio door bought at HD 5 years ago) appear to be the exact same part and they easily slip into where they belong. I believe if you cautiously remove your old ones without damaging them you could easily clean them up and go to HD and match and change only the wheel part of this whole assembly which would cost you probably only $5.00. However HD did tell me if you do not replace the complete wheel assembly with Anderson parts you will void the Anderson warranty of the screen door. Probably not a big deal but something to think about. HD & Lowes do not sell this exact wheel assembly, but they do sell many different size & shape screen door wheels without the assembly. Another thing is it would be nice if this seller shipped the top wheel assembly that I ordered at the same time together with these. Please note that I was aware that only the bottom wheels were Amazon Prime next day. So i sit half completed with my screen door project.

My only challenge was the way the old roller assembly broke made it hard to remove from the screen frame. If it wasnt broken, it would definitely have been simpler to extract it. Once out of the way, inserting the replacement was simple and its now 100% operational. Of course, its a bit expensive for a small part but there is no better option.

These rollers were an exact fit for our Andersen screen door. Easy install and now door slides nicely.

“We’ll just get a new screen door” - is what my husband said when I showed him these after our bottom wheel broke. Well, a year later and guess what? We still didn’t have that replacement! While the cost of a generic screen door isn’t too much, trying to lug it home from the store would be a challenge. I finally just ordered this piece and fixed the old door which had been sitting by the side of the house waiting patiently to be taken to the dump. The hardest part was dislodging the old wheel, after that the new piece popped right into place! A little bit of elbow grease to clean the door & WD40 on the element exposed track and we were back in business with an actual Anderson door. Also glad we kept the old screen door out of a landfill needlessly!
