> 3 dayWe were ready to throw our screen door away and buy a new one...Finally my husband took the time to investigate the issue. Thankfully he did! It was a cheap easy fix to years of frustration with it! We are planning on ordering a back up set for the next time.

> 3 dayMy old screed door kept falling off the track. I installed these new roller assemblies and now the screen door slides perfectly and does not come off the track. It was a little bit tricky to get the old rollers off the door, but with careful use of a small flat head screw driver made the task easier.

Greater than one weekWhen our old Andersen screen door would no longer slide (27-yr-old) and the price for a new door took my breath away, I opted to try replacing the rollers, both top and bottom. The rollers plus wiping down the exterior white aluminum frame with 90% isopropyl alcohol resulted in a new-looking and functioning screen door.

> 3 dayI think the last set of two replacement rollers I installed lasted about 10 years of constant, everyday use. The old ones were still working to whatever degree, but it was definitely time to replace them! These replacements were an exact fit, and couldnt be easier to install. I know other reviewers griped about the price to pay for a hunk of plastic, and theyre right...but what are you gonna do?...the door needs to open and close smoothly, and these are going to work. Various reviews also mentioned the problem getting the old rollers out. The key I found to removing them, however, is to slide a very narrow screwdriver between the lip of the roller tab and the screen door frame. Pushing the screwdriver will press against one of the two the retaining clips. Jiggle the roller a little to start pulling it out, and then push the screwdriver in from the other side to free the other retaining clip. Pops right out without a struggle. No need for needle nose pliers, which I had ready but didnt need.

23-11-2024If your screen door adjustable wheel has failed it CAN easily be replaced with this sturdy replacement product. No tools are needed but I did use a thin screwdriver to position to old roller near the opening in order to remove it. The new roller just slid in and snapped into place. It fits so well and rolls very smoothly now. No more scrapping metal noise and door off the track. Good as new.

> 3 dayAs much as I wanted the new rollers to make my old screen door glide like it was on oil, these replacements cant do that, but do get close. I guess theres only so much you can do with a inexpensive plastic replacement. But even with all that said, this is probably the best you can do - which is better than what the old 15+ year old one was. Replace away, just dont expect miracles.
