Arches Watercolor Block, Cold Press 9X12

This is simply the best watercolor paper I have ever used. It has weight, and texture. It is cold press. It holds a lot of watercolor. It is medium-sized, and the price on Amazon was right! Why go to the art store?

Love Arches hot and cold pressed papers. Ive tried others, but always come back to Arches. Think Ive found my forever watercolor paper.

Only complaint: All the paper rips unevenly from the block. The black bonding is like a solid glue, rather than just binding to hold the block together.

In my opinion Arches is the best Watercolor on the market. Ive tried several other brands and have always come back to Arches. Its thick, it lets you put layers and layers of paint and water and it lasts forever.

Love this paper/ board using it with watercolor pencils. Really a high quality paper and the board makes it super convenient!

Great stuff. Best paper. Doesnt absorb water too fast so you can move colors around for excellent blending. Real good stuff.

i love this paper and how it is taped down on the sides. I recently got some 300 lb paper from the same manufacture and like it better

Great for multiple techniques, so very versatile. I like that you can paint directly on the pad and remove your sheet with complete. Only problem I had was figuring out how to open. LOL But butter knife separates the sheets easily when starting at top center.
