> 24 hourThis is great quality in my opinion compared to canson watercolor paper. It’s more durable and for a beginner like me, you can add layer after layer or try to “scrub” a wrong paint color off when you mess up without having the paper get messed up as easily as cheaper brands. I definitely recommend for beginners.

> 24 hourI have been using Arches for about 6 months after my art teacher insisted I left the cheaper papers behind me. I thought it was a teachers speech but she was so right. I started with arches cold press and immediately my work improved. I love texture so the hot press did nothing for me and I was happy with the cold press until one day I decided to try the rough....and I L-O-V-E it. I still go back to cold press sometimes (I have about 4or 5 books in my reaerve) but more and more I find myself painting in the rough.

> 24 hourI love Arches paper and always use cold press so I wanted to try the rough to see the difference. It has its place for certain applications ie landscapes perhaps. A bit non absorbent unless you pre wet your paper.
