Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Bought this heat sink because of the reviews saying that it is one of the best if not THE best heat sink on the market. So far its awesome and its doing the job

Used it in my hot tubs Dry Well where the temperature sensor probe for the thermostat is. The improved thermal contact between the sensor & the plastic dry well improved the systems ability to run at a stable temperature.

I added this stuff to an only Heatsink/CPU Cooler combo in a rig that was 5 years old with overheating issues with dried up white thermal paste and it solved the issue. Ive used this stuff in at least 5 rigs Ive built and/or repaired now, and I havent had any overheating issues, or its fixed the overheating issues that were present (along with a fan cleaning). Good stuff. Works great.

Great product for the price! I would recommend this to a friend it helped me out a lot, my husband suggested it because it is a trusted company and is related to his field. So go a head and give it a try also it arrived as scheduled.

I squeegee it onto the surface of the processor and the heatsink, it fills the microscopic mountains and provides better thermal contact than cheap pastes, and better thermal conductivity than air would in those gaps. Really, it is a magnificent product, and when understood how it works, does a fine job. It is probably a good idea to replace the thermal grease in your computer right now, or at least, do it every so often. I think this is the same stuff I had on my old processor, and it dried out, but still worked well after having it in use for 5 years straight.

The best as far as Im concerned

I ordered the AS5 Thermal paste because my Dell Dimension 4700s CPU fan began to run at top speed while in idle. This system was purchased new from Dell in March 2005. Due to the fact that run a home based business, my computer is essential to my success. As Im currently doing upgrades to my computer I decided to by a new MOBO to be on the safe side. I wanted to purchase a high quality thermal paste. After doing some very intense research on thermal paste and wading thru numerous reviews I settled on AS5 because it was rated in the top 5 of 80 by an independent lab. Amazon offered the best price on the internet. I received my order in 3 days. I give this one 2 thumbs up!

Does what it is made for.

Very little in the container. Not much needed though. 4 starts because of the quantity and price.
