> 3 dayI added this stuff to an only Heatsink/CPU Cooler combo in a rig that was 5 years old with overheating issues with dried up white thermal paste and it solved the issue. Ive used this stuff in at least 5 rigs Ive built and/or repaired now, and I havent had any overheating issues, or its fixed the overheating issues that were present (along with a fan cleaning). Good stuff. Works great.

> 3 dayThis is an older thermal paste, but it still does the job well. I used this with an upgraded cooler from stock, and saw my CPU temps drop by 10-15 degrees Celsius. Im sure personal preferences vary and others will suggest differing products, but for me this Arctic Silver 5 paste continues to work well. It is easy to use and does a great job in heat dissipation. It is also easy on the wallet, so for those wanting a great paste for CPU cooling at a great price, look no further.

> 3 dayI over clock my processor significantly and artic silver works amazingly. Im sure there a cheaper alternatives out there but artic silver has a reputation as being reliable and top quality. If u over clock get the best.

Greater than one weekI cannot say enough about this thermal compound. I not only used this for my new i7-4790K gaming rig, I also went back and applied it to my old Phenom II x6 1090T gaming rig. In both cases, the temperatures amazingly low - I cant get my old rig to tick over 44C, and the new rig hasnt come above 42C. If youre going to drop a couple of grand or more to build a new computer, spending a few extra bucks on this will go a long, long way towards a cool and happy system.

> 3 dayWorks great for cooling down my cpu. I found it weird that my cpu later on had 100% usage on it but that later went down after a few hours of use.

> 3 dayFor my V6 GT Ive been using the stock CM thermal compound. Temps got up to 80C or so at 4.6GHz @ 1.3V on my 2500K. 80C is a high limit for Ivy and Sandy Bridge, so I was interested in getting the 5-10C drops other people are getting. The result: 10C HIGHER temps at idle and 3C HIGHER temps at load. I know AS5 has a LONG cure time, so I hope I can give it a better review after it cures. Its supposed to cure in 100Hrs or so, but review websites are finding its more like 120Hrs+. Still, the stock thermal compound from CM has NO cure time, which makes it more valuable to me. If performance doesnt improve over the next week, Ill try reapplying and see where that gets me.

Greater than one weekNot much to say about Artic Silver. If you know anything about computers...you know this is the best. The only question is where you can buy it for the cheapest price...
