Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

I ultimately didnt need to buy this since my radiator came with a tube already, but I used this one instead of the free one because I spent money on it, lol. Seems to be doing its job, as my processor is purring happily with no heat issues, so there ya go.

My CPU was overheating and I didnt know why. When I removed the chip there was virtually no paste behind it (that and my father-in-law pointed out that the vent for the case was against my computer hutch thereby inhibiting air flow). So I purchased Arctic Silver. It is in a nice application size and was easy to install. I also move the case, and now I dont seem to be having any more issues.

Very satisfied with product. I cleaned old thermal paste off processor and applied Arctic Silver 5 and processor temp dropped and fan doesnt kick on anymore. GREAT PRODUCT!

There is a reason why this is the best. Pay the extra couple bucks and get the best because the thermal compound does matter. It is the cheapest part of keeping a computer cool so why not just pay the extra to protect your system. My i7-2600K is overclocked to 4.5 and is still in the 30-40 degrees Celsius range in a room that is fairly hot! Good Product

This compound is a little thick and works a little more like glue than anything but it keeps that cpu cooler
