Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Silver is the way to go for thermal compound. This product claims that it will reduce temperatures by at least 5C on whatever you use it on. Im here to tell you that it does at least that, and sometimes even further depending on your particular setup. I use this product with all of my own builds, I recommend it to other builders that I know, and I use this product for my customer builds. It doesnt take very much of this to do the job, only a pea sized amount placed in the center of whatever youre going to use it on.

My CPU was overheating and I didnt know why. When I removed the chip there was virtually no paste behind it (that and my father-in-law pointed out that the vent for the case was against my computer hutch thereby inhibiting air flow). So I purchased Arctic Silver. It is in a nice application size and was easy to install. I also move the case, and now I dont seem to be having any more issues.

This product helped to maintain the functionality of my PlayStation 3 fat. This tube of Arctic Silver 5 is very small, but in all honesty a very small amount goes a long way. Applying the correct amount of Arctic Silver 5 is important because too little can potentially worsen your situation with overheating, and too much can lead to a poor connection due to the thickness of this product. Nonetheless, if applied properly Arctic Silver 5 does its job very well.

Prior to ordering the DJI Vision 2 + Part 03 WiFi signal transmission module replacement, I tried the Arctic Silver Thermal paste technique on the original WiFi signal transmission module. The Arctic Silver paste was easy to apply but, proved not to be the solution for my fried WiFi module.

This is honestly the best thermal paste you need to have when installing a cooler to a CPU in your new build, or applying a different one to an existing build. It will also work on any component you wish to cool down, such as a GPU or a MOSFET. Always remember this general rule of thumb: Less is More.

Love this thermal compound! I wont use anything else on my customers computers.
