Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Keeps my processor icy cold peeking at about 40C when doing even the most demanding tasks. Plus its 7 bucks, why not?

I bought this after my PS3 experienced symptoms similar to the YLOD. I tried fixing it once and the thermal paste didnt work long term like I thought it would.

Used this to re paste my CPU due to overheating real easy to put on too. note to self, no longer use the stock paste go with this one.

The item arrived on the day I was told, just as promised. I Cant wait to use it on my AMD FX processor. Hopefully this will help me get better CPU temperatures on my PC.

This was purchased for the purpose of building a custom computer. Cools the cpu properly, and the so far I have had no problems with overheating. Each time I have checked the temperature of the cpu it is always in the safe range of 40-50 Celsius. Beyond that there is not much to this product. Works as intended, which is exactly what I wanted!

That little bit sure did a lot. What to do with these other 36 applications left over?

I apply a thin but substantial layer over my cpu and then position the cooler on the cpu. Been doing this for years, and always have had good results. This time, I used this with an i-5 1360k amd Noctua Redux cooler, the cpu is running overclocked and running at manageable temperatures.

Honestly, I dont know enough to compare this with similar products but it was recommended to me by a pc technician. All I know is that it was needed to install a newer CPU and everything is working fine.
