> 3 dayIts not overly obvious, but you can wall mount this monitor. You have to lift (from the bottom edge) and remove the plate around the base stand, then remove the four screws securing base stand. Youll see four screw mounts (not the same ones used for base stand) that you can use to secure it to the wall stand. Its not in the center like most monitors, but on the lower edge on the back of the monitor.

> 3 dayFor what I paid for this monitor $100.00 +/- Im loving it. No complaints . Sharp picture quality, works great w/my PS4 I think its more compatible than my old T.V. (Better refresh rate) Dont know if things have changed in the past few years but 27 was/is? the sweet spot for clarity & its plenty big enough for the foot of my couch (legs length away) Long shots. Now if Bethesda would optimize their graphics better, life would be closer to perfect.

Greater than one weeka. 27 in viewable but I would not call this frameless. From the outer edge of the frame to the viewable area there is a 1/4 inch of black all the way around. This is visible in the the Amazon images of the monitor. The monitor slopes out from the front to the back so the total width is a tad bigger the what the front of the frame makes it look like. b. Slim design is a questionable term to use when describing this monitor. Its no more or less slim then any other modern monitor on the market in its class. The back arches out from either side. c. The controls being on the back are a pain. There is plenty of room at the bottom for the controls like any other monitor. d. Mine runs at 1080p and 75Hz with no issues. Not sure what issue the one review was having but I attached a screenshot of my display settings. Its a good monitor for $150.00 and at that price you should not expect it to be the most amazing thing in the world. If you are looking for something a bit larger for your tired old eyes and dont want to pay allot of money it will probably do you just fine. I have always found lower end Asus monitors to be perfectly adequate for general and business usage. Id happily buy another one and probably will in the future. I have only had it for a few days so Ill update this review if anything changes.

> 3 dayThis is the smallest 27 monitor Ive ever had, saving space all over the table, but at the same time very powerful; the brightness is comfortable and neat, I recommend it for long office work...

> 3 dayIm returning to the office and Im bringing my existing dual monitors (also asus vl279 but not HE I guess) to the office. Monitors look fine and not too pricy. I thought I ordered the same model I had before but I guess not. Issue 1. They do not work with my docking station. I guess my docking stations second hdmi out only outputs at 30hz and maybe this monitor doesnt support it. I switched to 30hz interleaved and it works but looks terrible. Ive ordered a different docking station to see if that fixes the issue. I guess you could call this an issue with the docking station which does work with the asus vl279 non HE monitors (which must support 30hz). Second issue is they say its wall mountable. I guess. You have to pop off the bottom of the back and unscrew the base stand to expose the wall mount plate. But the mounting bracket is at the bottom of the monitor and not in the center so you better have something that doesnt swivel. I sort of had to prop one side against the wall and the second monitor against the first one. God forbid i ever sneeze. Most stands are designed to swivel a bit and its fine if they are attached more to the monitors center of gravity. One false move on these and it will swing around and get destroyed. Trying hard to not have to rma. Make sure your stand doesnt swivel and if you have a docking station it supports 60hz.

Greater than one weekI am knocking off a star because i could not get the monitor to function using an Active Displayport adapter. i had to source a displayport to VGA cable to make the monitor work. I dont know why that is but it was a very long and frustrating setup period trying to get my monitors working. Also, maybe i dont understand what a Blue light filter is supposed todo but it seams as though levels 1-3 are all the same and level 4 does all the work. When i used 1-3 i cant tell a difference but level 4 really removes allot of Blue.

> 3 dayI like the sharp clear quality (top 2 displays). Brightness, as expected. I game, author, and use my equipment for amateur radio where several integrated apps work together. I may replace my two older monitors as well!

> 3 dayI have had an older version of this monitor for several years now and was so impressed with the quality that I recently purchased another one for a dual monitor set-up on my desk. My co-workers were so impressed that we have now purchased 2 more for others in the office!
