Greater than one weekThe drive works fine for reading discs and writing to 25gb Blu-Ray disc, however when I tried to write to a 100gb M-Disc, it seemed to work when I wrote a 60+ gigabytes to the disc, however when I later tried to access the disc it was corrupted and failed to open. Im debating on keeping the disc drive, however I wont waste my money on a $14.00 100gb M-Disc.

Greater than one weekWas discouraged about buying due to bad reviews but mine worked fine. Just know the software wont let you play blu-ray. Itll just let you burn/edit the disc info.

> 3 dayWorked straight out of the box like a champ. It have been chewing through discs non-stop for days now with zero error. I connected the device to multiple USB 3.0 hubs to see if I can duplicate any of the difficulties others have been reporting with Windows 10. Intel, Asus, and Fresco controllers all worked. No issues with Windows 10 and the previously listed drivers. Reading the negative feedback, I think the issue lies with the end user. First, it will not just play a blu-ray. Do some research before purchasing a product. Second, to everyone complaining that device would not power on when plugged in. It wouldnt power up by just plugging it in. There is a power switch on the back that some what blends into the design of the unit. In the defense of those claiming all of their units were faulty, the power switch is stiff and difficult to operate. A quick glance at the user manual shows how to properly power up the device.

> 3 dayThough locating software for the Mac is a bit of a pain and pricy, its an amazing machine for the cost. Havent had any problems with it, very quiet, and fast. Downside is.... the blue LED light.... be nice if it could be turned off or at least dimmed... a little to bright especially at night.

Greater than one weekThis is a beast of a product. My previous CD/DVD/Blu-ray player/burner was a slimline model and was so inconsistent that I had no faith that it would work. I plugged this unit in and ran it for hours with no hiccups. The only down side is finding room on my desk for it. But, it is completely worth the size. Love it.

Greater than one weekHad the drive for one day. Worked as described right out of the box. Using this external drive for backup of important pictures and documents. Also, my desktop doesnt have an internal drive and older software came on DVDs obviously requires a disk drive.
