05-04-2025Touch screen blinks when you interact with it... Ive already has a key break away and another is sticking. oh and it apparently has no processing strength, despite how much ram it boasts. Sad.

> 3 dayNot Acceptable for my intended uses. Returned, after much delay from Amazon (shipped immediately, but the Return button was not available for over three weeks). Spent hours on chats trying to get this resolved. Amazon has lost my electronics business, after years as a totally satisfied Prime member.

> 3 dayI have to use headphones to watch my college lectures because the speakers are too quiet. Sometimes it locks up on a black screen - I use the power button + refresh to restart it. Outside of these issues, I’ve had no trouble with it. I don’t use the touchscreen very often but have had no issue with it when I do. I use a wireless mouse, not the built in pad, so I can’t speak to its quality. Sometimes the keyboard light isn’t bright enough but it’s fine.

> 3 dayAfter getting it set up, I find out it had been registered to a YMCA and I am unable to change the name of the chromebook... Deceiving to say the least... I will probably keep it as I like the form factor and seems to function properly... But disappointed it was misrepresented by the seller. Nowhere in the discription did it mention this was a refurbished unit....

Greater than one weekIve come to really respect Asus chromebooks. Ive had several, moved the aging parents to them and one has taken my son through High School and onto college.

Greater than one weekI got this chrome book primarily for writing purposes and I’m so glad I did. I love the touch screen, it has a decent battery life but my favorite part? Oddly enough is the keys! I love that they are backlit but the softness of the click makes it comfortable to type. Whenever I go to upgrade my main laptop I will definitely be looking for something with the same type of keyboard.

> 3 dayHaving always used Windows, and therefore completely new to Chromebook, it is a definate learning curve. I feel hampered as Ive only ever used Microsoft type computers and being elderly may have slowed my learning speed.
