05-04-2025The price was excellent for this Chromebook and considering the specifications, it seemed like a good deal. I even looked at other reviews and thought that this would be the one! I really didnt use the computer that much since I bought it; maybe 15-20 times. Then 2 weeks after the return deadline I was given an error that Chrome OS needed to be recovered. I tried to fix it myself, but was unable to do so. I called Asus and was told that I would need to send it in to be fixed by them. Packaging and shipping cost $75!!! Considering the price of the computer was $250 and that it was less than 90 days old, they should have replaced it! Computers should not need to be fixed after 90 days! This doesnt bode well for the computers future. Disappointingly, I really wonder if I will ever purchase an Asus product again.

> 3 dayMy 11 year old received it as a Christmas gift and loves it. He primarily uses for moderate gaming and watching you tube videos. He says it is the perfect size; loves the quality of the screen/pictures; the ability to flip and fold like a tablet; and thinks the back lit keyboard is cool. Personally, I have a hard time seeing the letters and numbers due to no color contrast but does not seem to bother him. He would recommend this product to others.

05-04-2025First off the bat, the audio is nearly useless without the Ears, plug-in for Chrome, which allows you to EQ and boost the volume to a suitable level for content consumption.

> 3 dayWhat a piece of garbage. We bought TWO of these 10 months ago. They both have the exact same problem with the keys not working, and now one of them won’t even turn on. For over $300, wouldn’t you expect better quality? When contacting the company they let us know it wasn’t covered under warranty, less than one year old, same problem. Very disappointing and can not recommend at all!

> 3 dayI love this Chromebook. With the convertible configuration (laptop/tablet/tent) and the touchscreen plus a pretty quick processor it’s hard to beat for everyday use. This goes everywhere with me. Definitely recommend!

> 3 dayAs far as the functionality of this unit its works well. I have a hard time physically opening the unit itself. Also, the letters on the silver keyboard are very difficult to see even with them fully lit. So I am returning it because of those reasons.

> 3 dayGot tired from the Windows operating issues (constant updates, anti-virus, slow operation, other), bought this Chrome book, happy with the decision. This is a good product.
