> 3 dayThe display is excellent , the touchpad is very responsive and I love the backlit keyboard. I had originally purchased an HP Chromebook but found the display had little or no contrast and there was no backlit keyboard. I tend to be up very early in the morning and could not see the keyboard on the HP. With the ASUS everything shines. I was a little hesitant to swich from a Windows based laptop to a Chromebook but the transition has been flawless so far. This is lightweight and blazing fast. Love it.

> 3 dayIm a senior lady who is 71 years old. I have used computers my whole adult life. When I ordered this Chromebook instead of my usual purchases in the past of Laptops, I did so by reading what the differences were between the two, then I spoke with my son-in-law about the differences and got the impression that there was not that much difference. I just received my Chromebook four days ago. I was surprised at how nice it was. Very heavy to me at first, compared to all other Laptops Ive used, but as Im using it, it does not fall off my lap when I move a little! I am going to keep this in mind when I find the right Laptop for me. This Chromebook in my opinion, is one of great quality! Quite solid and sturdy! I have two favorite things on this Chromebook. One is the screen! It is so clear, very colorful, easy to read. It is the BEST SCREEN I have ever used! The Touch Screen is more precise when using it as a laptop. For example, ones I have used in the past, have always been difficult to select the exact spot where you want the cursor to be! I would need to select, go back, select again, go back, the line, the letter, the number. I dont know if its due to the clarity of the screen or if its programming, but not having to constantly select and re-select over and over again, is a blessing! The fact in which you can fold this screen over and work on it as a tablet is great! What I dont necessarily like is how touchy it is. When I folded it over and started using it as a tablet, My hands, in holding it to use as tablet, kept touching the on/off button on the side.

> 3 dayLoved the size, light weight, color all fine Even had the flip, and touch screen, big bonus! But the keys, the keys color blended in to same color with the lettering, could not see the lettering!! Hard to type if you cannot easily see the keys!

> 3 dayI love this Chromebook. With the convertible configuration (laptop/tablet/tent) and the touchscreen plus a pretty quick processor it’s hard to beat for everyday use. This goes everywhere with me. Definitely recommend!

Greater than one weekI got this Chromebook for my daughter to use for school. It is well built, the screen is bright, and it has more than enough battery life to last through a school day. It is a bit bigger and heavier than some of the other 2 and 1 Chromebooks that many schools issue for their students, but this means the screen is also bigger and looks great. As well, you can flip the keyboard around and the touchscreen becomes a tablet. My daughter loves this and I am very happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayI purchased this for personal use after my laptop bit it. Its been great for my non-work needs (primarily working in Google docs, streaming). The only issue I have is the light under the keyboard is extremely dim and so its hard to see which keys youre hitting at times. I purchased a keyboard cover for this reason.

> 3 dayJust got this as a replacement for the amazing Asus C302 Chromebook. Our house is all Macbook, but I like the simplicity of the Chromebooks. Pros: screen, speed, looks, much improved sound. Cons: when the screen is open to view, past vertical, the computer, unlike the C302, rises up in back and rests on its hinges, which is odd, since it is not sitting on its feet in back. Design flaw or planned?

Greater than one weekMy daughter age 17 set this up herself and absolutely loves this computer. She says it has long battery life, isnt loud and performs all the functions she needs well.
