I got the i9-13900 and the fast DDR5. I seriously considered getting the Z790, assuming it was much better. But, I read up on the performance, they are identical. The real difference is the Z690 needed a BIOS update to work with this new i9, otherwise the Z790 has one more USB port, maybe?

Plenty of M.2 slots, Pcie, Pump & Fan connections. Good hardware to support High end cpus. I benchmarked my computer with this Mobo and it ranked 99% in the world against other computers.

Yes its a first gen product and ddr5 is the new hotness so I should have expected it, but this board is a total disaster and save yourself a week of stress and just dont buy it unless your ram is explicitly on the QVL.

Why in the world would you put a sticker over the serial number so now when I need to go register the product I have to scrape sticker off of the number.

It has just about all the bells and whistles that the high end boards have except maybe a few NVME drives or in some cases maybe a few extra PCI-E 5.0 lanes. No issues so far, its basically on the bleeding edge of current tech for the masses with nvme 4.0, DDR5 and the latest high end Intel CPUs. Lots of customization in the bios, you have a plethora of choices to choose from if your in to tweaking and OCing.
