MB quickly assembled and worked well without issue but for trouble in getting a reasonable memory score with the new DDR5.

12th gen ready. Oc abilities. What more do you need? Always check ram compatibility when purchasing a motherboard. Picked my ddr5 right off their specific list. Golden.

I have spent 3 months dealing with random BSOD and issues. Finally ran memtest from bios and memory was failing, even when under clocked. The memory is 2x 32GB Corsair Vengeance 5200 DDR5 memory. I tried adding fans to cool memory and it still failed. Did all the bios updates and it was more stable but still failed. Finally heard online that someone swapped memory slots from A1/B1 to A2/B2 and was more stable. Sure enough no memory failures when moving RAM to A2/B2 slots.

Solid board and like the memory speeds. Uses ddr5 ram, gen 4 m-2 drives and ready to run RTX 40 series cards and will utilize faster graphics card memory. The latest pci slots. Happy, been running for almost 2 months with no issues.

Great mobo. It doesn’t come without its issues. Main one is ram. Easy fix if you know what to do. For everyone getting the dram debug light. Install one stick. It will cycle a few times. Get into bios and change vdd and vddq voltage. 1.2 for up to 4800mhz. 1.4 for 4800mhz. Save settings. Turn off, install other ram. A2 and b2 slots(grey). Then it will cycle a few times again. Then wala good to go. Ignore the 1star reviews. As of recently it supports 13th gen out of box. There’s on final bios update that addresses the bugs.

Pros: supports windows 11, works with i9 13900K. Installed Noctua NH-D15 easy. I recommend attaching the back plate of the cooler first, installing the motherboard in the case second, connecting CPU power cables third, and only then installing the cooler. I recommend using PSU that support PCU power x2. For example, EVGA Supernova 750 P6 or similar. BIOS was updated automatically - intiated by Windows 11 as optional update.

ASUS outdid themselves with this sci-fi all aluminum design of the Prime Z690-A motherboard. This is actually my very first build as before I only used laptops and I wanted a Professional Workstation. This product is only made for DDR5 so please keep that in mind before buying. When you have a clear path to obtaining some DDR5 at MSRP (dont feed the scalpers/retailers that are scalping) dont pass up on this majestic board. Overall the features are more toned down compared to the gamer boards as this generation those have a Q-Release button from ASUS, but this wins in looks, build quality, and pricing as it only costs $299.99 or less. I highly recommend this for creators or people who just want something other than the traditional gamer designs, but again be mindful of having a clear path to obtaining DDR5 Memory.
