B + W 55mm UV Protection Filter (010) for Camera Lens – Standard Mount (F-PRO), E Coating, 2 Layers Resistant Coating, Photography Filter, 55 mm, Clear Protector

Not much I can say about this except that Ive got other B+W Clear UV Haze filters and they are simply fantastic for my Olympus OMD EM5 Mk2 micro four thirds camera lenses.

As many others have reported, it seems that the item I received is not brand new. The filter was sitting loosely in a case that didnt fit it and upon close inspection it was coated in dust and tiny scratches/smears. There seems to be something very fishy going on here and I am starting to trust Amazon less and less these days. I called B+W directly and they agreed that something seems wrong. They stated that the filter should come in a tight fitting case (so it doesnt move around when shaken) and shouldnt have dust on it straight out of the box. I am sick of dealing with Amazons horrid customer service, so I am currently trying to exchange my filter for a new one directly through B+W.

This is a great way to protect my new investment! I am very happy I got this filter as most the time I tend to get dust or something on my lens and it is always a pain to remove or clean. With this being on it, I can just remove and clean the filter then replace it with no problem!

Ya tenía otro para un objetivo de 77mm y no lo he dudado. Estos filtros tienen una buena calidad de construcción, cumplen con su función perfectamente, este modelo permite poner la tapa al objetivo (para no imprescindible) y aunque hay marcas Mas baratas, creo que no es cara porque se paga la calidad que te dan. Lo volvería a comprar.

I thought I was buying new but apparently not. They sent my a 67mm filter in a 77mm box. It didn’t even fit it’s case properly. Way too small for my lens and now I’m disappointed cause I don’t have the protection for it that I was hoping.

What else is there to say about B+W filters - as with others this UV Haze filter is solidly built, fits perfectly, and feels like it adds another layer of weight and protection to my lens. The metal and glass makes this filter feel super high quality and there is no doubt in my mind that I want to only use filters of this quality on all my lenses in the future. Great buy and worth every penny, even if it was a few more pennies than some alternatives.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT. When you want quality you have to be able to discard the cheap UV filters and spend a few bucks more. This give you more bite for the bucks. Love it. Great when its raining.

Ya tengo el filtro de 77mm en casa compre el filtro a MENAJEDELHOGAR.EU se equivocaron y vino uno de 72mm contacte con ellos y en el mismo día ya tenía otro filtro de 77mm de camino y yo solo debi de devolver el de 72 al mismo repartidor, recomiendo la compra ya que responden bien en unas 2 semanas ya tendré el objetivo y podré opinar sobre la calidad pero no dudo que será top ya que tengo más filtros de b+w

Very nice coating. Dont really know if there much difference with other uv filters but seem to be fine. Happy
