> 3 dayBon filtre UV.

> 3 dayI am a photographer, I have kids, dog and I am busy-need I say any-more..:) Well- After scratching my $2,700 telephoto lens,(near the edge-thank God) with in 2 months of receiving it ,I purchased this protective lens. My pictures are detailed enough and I can sleep. It may not provide protection against acts of nature but it survives me! So I give this lens 2 thumbs up & gratitude. lol Other photographers I know who refuse to use these because its just another lens to shoot through do not even give me any flack anymore.( Unfortunately, I proved my point-it works for me! )I know Id rather not spend money on something I already bought .

> 3 dayMan mag über solche Schutz-Filter denken wie man will - ich nehme sie im Studio ab und schraube sie outdoor drauf. Dass ich dann auf Qualität achte, die bei B+W gegeben sein dürfte versteht sich wohl von selbst.

> 3 daySo this is the first time I ordered a B + W filter from Amazon as I almost always exclusively go to BHPHOTOVIDEO for my camera gear but they were back ordered for almost 6 weeks and I needed coverage for my new lens! Upon arrive, the box looks completely differently! Ive ordered these for the past 3 years and they always came in the signature blue color on the left so immediately I got to thinking it was a Counterfeit! BUT it has the right weight as the brass rings are heavier compared to Fake filter, it uses all the right fonts, and I checked the web and forums label this as a official branding! Its weird because the FAKE versions also use a black box but their are distinct differences to spot a FAKE so now Im really confused! Ill take my chances for now since I cannot leave my lens without protection! Rather break a $35 filter versus my $800 lens! Hopefully someone can clarify this later down the road!

> 3 dayI bought this piece to protect the main lens of my Canon EOS 7D. It fits well. I simply use it for that purpose and I havent tested it for anything else.

> 3 daySimply put, there are more affordable options that provide more than adequate if not equal optics for the money. But if you swap filters often enough youll probably find that B+Ws filters have less issues with flex and, more importantly, soft (i.e., easily damaged) threads like those sold by Tiffen and Hoya that Ive experienced in the past. Cross-threading a filter is NOT my idea of providing nice treatment to any of those expensive lenses of mine, and having done that once or twice in my lifetime Ive sworn that I will always do my best to get the best-made filters available to protect and use on MY glass, even if it costs a bit more. Any filter can be damaged, but Ive had great experiences with B+W products and until they prove themselves otherwise unworthy, will continue to use them again and again.
