> 24 hourI was worried I had not started the repetition of daily brushing with my baby but her first teeth didnt start coming in until 10 months. The first time I gave her this brush she immediately began chewing (and brushing in a sense) on her own - as expected - but what surprised me was that she flips the banana brush to do the top of her mouth as well as the bottom, and the left as well as the right and even the front. I have been amazed that she figured this all out on her own simply because it naturally feels good to the growing mouth. Now I just stand at the sink with her and she does all the work. Dont hesitate, this is amazing. I will however add that you may want to add a bib when brushing or have them brush in their day clothes that you are tossing into the hamper anyway because chewing this (for my daughter anyway) causes more drooling than anything else she has ever chewed on! Its just that good I guess -

> 24 hourWe got this when our baby started getting his lower teeth. He was only about 4 months old, so he wasnt very coordinated and couldnt hold this yet. He liked when we would lightly brush his emerging teeth with the soft rubber bristles. Now hes 8 months and starting to get his first upper teeth. He can hold this just fine and will chew on it for a long time. Today I presented him with 3 of the teething toys we have for him and he picked this one right away. I like that its one piece and no part of it is hard plastic. Babies can turn it around and chew on the yellow part if they want. Cleaning is easy - soap/water, rinse, and air or pat dry. No worries of water getting in between cracks because there are none. If youre a new parent looking for teething toys, you should definitely add this one to your arsenal.

> 24 hourSo I am totally using this product a bit off label, Im using it for our sweet 4 year old son, who has Autism among other things. He had a dental procedure in hospital this week, and it honestly made my eyes water the amount of work they needed to do. He struggles profoundly from the sensory side with brushing, he doesnt like the way the bristles feel, and even with a 3 sided toothbrush you can usually get 30 seconds at the most, often less out of him before he starts to freak out and fight you. So this was part of a plan I came up with to try and address the issue, since hes a heavy oral stemmer and we have to have items that are appropriate for him to chew on anyways to sub out for inappropriate items, like my books, etc. I thought it might help him get some extra cleaning in with his chewing, so to speak. I figured since the bristles are made of silicon, and hes used to chewing on that, he would tolerate them. And success! I pulled it out of the box, and handed it to him, and holy cow he actually stuck it in his mouth at the first sight of it! Squeal!! I really think this is a totally brilliant product, and I was hoping that it would be long enough he could stick it in the back part of the side of his mouth to chew, because he does that. And it is. My only reason for nocking it off, is that he sat down on our new pet cover for the couch, which is fuzzy, and immediately this thing came up covered in lint. The surface has some form of tackiness to it that exceeds any of his other current chewy items, and I think that is a slight drawback. I dont know how durable it will be yet, it does have a certain amount of give to it, so Im watching him carefully with it to make sure he doesnt bite through it. But otherwise, so far Im super pleased with this product and how it is working out, hes been using it a whole bunch over the last couple of hours, he seems to really like the texture of it, so Whoo-hoo!

> 24 hourI saw this on a list of “Best Teethers.” My granddaughter loves it. It is easy for her to grip & hold onto, & can be used as a toothbrush, as well.

> 24 hourNo joke, after I bought the first one, I bought two more, because the baby loves them that much (and I lost the first one as soon as the other two came in the mail). Youll know that you have a teething baby when she starts drooling uncontrollably and starts biting everything--her thumbs, her toys, her mom... Our baby was chewing on her hands so much they were starting to bleed, starting this horrible cycle of crankiness, so I found this banana toothbrush thing and offered it to her. At first, she gave me a look like What the actual eff, mom? but then, like she does with pretty much everything she gets her hands on, she put it in her mouth, and the look on her face was probably like what I looked like the first time I had tiramisu. What is this miraculous thing and how did I exist before I knew of it? The baby was inseparable from this weird pink banana brush for like a solid week. Then her teething pains subsided and she forgot about it. When the teething came back a few weeks later, I reminded her that the banana existed, and what a lifesaver it was. The banana brush does pick up lint (and cat hair!) like nobodys business. Definitely wash it before giving it to your kid, and then give it at least a good rinse after it falls on the floor (maybe a little dish soap if you have pets like we do). I was afraid that it was going to smell like plastic softeners, and it doesnt. Just a very faint floral scent that quickly fades. Highly recommended for teething babies! (And makes for very cute photo ops.)
