Greater than one weekAfter looking for (and trying) various baby teethers, I came across the Baby Banana and decided to buy one for my then 4 month old. He was at the stage where he wanted to constantly chew on something with his gums. If your baby is at the grab and put everything in mouth stage, THIS is the toy/teether for you. My baby is now 6 months old and this is still his favorite toy/teether to play with. It keeps him busy for a good 20-30 minutes (which all parents know is pretty crazy). The conventional round shaped teethers are useless in my opinion. The baby can never properly fit the round teethers in their mouth and just get frustrated. This is even MUCH BETTER than Sophie the Giraffe. My baby chewed on Sophies leg the first 2 days, and then lost interest. Theres something about the Baby Banana that he loves. It really helps massage & soothe his gums. If your baby likes chewing on your fingers or his own - THIS IS the teether to get. Its shaped just like a finger, and your baby can reach the back gums and poke it around. Round teethers wont help soothe the gums deep inside. This thing is so baby friendly its amazing. The handles give a really good grip to the baby, and the baby can chew on both ends, as well as the handles. The peel shaped handles also allow you to put those plastic links through, so you can hang the banana onto the babys clothes or stroller or seat, and it wont fall to the ground. (Sophie doesnt have anything to attach to). My baby really has a go at it, you can hear the silicone squeaking against those baby gums. Im just happy I found the PERFECT teether to soothe my babys gums. He still doesnt have teeth yet, so Im sure he will be able to chew off the bristle shaped head when he gets a couple of teeth. I would buy 2, keep one at home, and one in the baby bag. Make sure you wash the bristles thoroughly though, because little threads or fuzz can get trapped between bristles, but its very easy to clean. Highly recommend this. Probably the only teether you need!

> 3 dayI just bought three more of these. My little one chewed this absolutely as the favorite teether. I thought it was just my kid - but Ive learned from 6 other friends that it is the #1 chewing thing for their kiddos too. Wowzers there is no other toy that so many of our children agree on as being the favorite. I bought to replace our current banana, one for the next kid and one to gift to a friend. I think this is one of the most valuable necessities. We have a dozen teethers Im sure and this is undoubtedly the best one. - one negative is that after extensive chewing some of the little rubber bristles can start to break off. Keep an eye out for this and maybe replace if you become concerned about them falling off. I bet we have 100 hours of chewing time into this thing before that started happening at all. Im still highly satisfied with it - but it is something to keep an eye out for.

> 3 dayOur infant baby doesnt have teeth yet but is at that stage where everything goes into his mouth so we figured wed order it early since at least its meant to be in the mouth and hed hopefully get used to brushing habits early. We were amazed at how much our baby loves this brush. He watches us brush our teeth and reaches for his banana immediately and goes to town scrubbing his gums. The two handles are perfect, he holds the brush in either hand or both depending on his mood and is able to hold and control it well (not always the case with primitive motor skills and other objects). A quick rinse when hes done and the brush is ready for next time. It looks cute too (we hate clutter on the vanity but this looks fine next to his yellow rubber duck for baths). After a bath I dry him off on the vanity counter and he was forever squirming but now he just grabs his banana and is calm/distracted enough to not cause a fuss. Similarly, we have a weighing scale pre bath-time that he would be squirming in constantly, making taking a stable weight figure impossible. Now he holds his banana in both hands, isnt grabbing the sides of the scale or baby bath-time paraphernalia on the counter and weighing has become a very quick routine. Were excited to have him start using this on actual teeth soon but not as excited as he is, which is about the best endorsement we can give.

> 3 dayThis is super cute. I ordered it for my son for Christmas for his first toothbrush. He just turned one year old. It was really cute when I received it, but it is not really a training toothbrush, this is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. It says on the package not for children over one year of age. So it is misleading. It is hard to find a good training toothbrush and I thought this was really cute, but its actually just a teether for a young infant. So we cant really use it because my son has a lot of teeth already and it getting his molars, I do not want him to be able to bit a piece off of this, as it is recommended for under one year of age for this reason I believe. So I think it is a great product, a teether for young infants, but it should not say that it is a training toothbrush, because it is not. It is very soft and bendable, so I can see why it shouldnt be used by older children, because it could be easily bitten into. My son does like it, I just really have to watch him closely when he has it. He is teething his first molars right now, so he loves to chew on this and rub it on his gums. I hope that it stays in one piece while hes teething so I dont have to take it away from him, he even fell asleep with it while nursing last night, it was in his little hand.

> 3 dayOne day while out shopping I saw the cutest little boy in his stroller with this rubber toy banana in his hands while he joyfully chewed on the exposed banana. As I got closer to he and his mother I saw that the infant was holding onto that toy banana with both hands by the peels of the banana! I couldnt believe my eyes. I asked her where she bought it and of course she said she received it at her baby shower. I searched online and was able to find it on Amazon (the place where you can find just about anything you are looking for) so immediately purchased it for my 2 month old grandson. I have to say it was the BEST purchase Ive made for a long time! It isnt made out of cheap and smelly rubber or plastic. You will receive a top of the line item and I am certain you would not regret it. I know in the future I will tie one of these Bananas onto the bow of every gift I give for friends and family members having/have infants! What really drew my attention to this item was the way the company created handles to look like the banana peels for the infant to hold onto while preventing the baby from shoving it too far back, choking on it, and/or hurting themselves. Like I said earlier, no baby should EVER go w/out a Baby Banana Bendable Training Toothbrush!,!!!!!!!!
