Hooked to my radio in my car for apple car play…Only worked 2 months. Now I have to take my radio back out of the f’n dash and replace it with a new one.

These are much higher quality than I would have expected. Lots of mounting options included. I inserted it into a 12V cigarette lighter port after I removed from the dash panel. Now I can plug my phone right into this instead of draping a usb cable under the dash or glove box.

When installing my new double DIN stereo in my older truck, I discovered that any updates had to be done via USB connection to the back of the radio, and connecting my iPhone to listen to music and charge it in the process, I decided to use a double USB connector to the extend the two USB connectors at the back of the radio. This item fit the bill an was relatively easy to install an provided perfect access to the stereo USB ports from the front of the dash. Recommend this product.

Makes a great addition to an older car without USB ports. I have purchased two of these and used them with my headunits that have USB ports on the back. Only strange thing encountered with these units is the USB ports are in different directions. I use one port for charging only and one for connection to the headunit, so I need to remember to reverse the cable since the ports have the top facing out.

Comes with a plastic mounting bracket that is sturdy and easy to mount. Can also be mounted through a drilled hole. Dust cover fits well and is easy to flip off and re-snap into place.
