> 3 dayIt doesn’t work well with Apple CarPlay. It continuously charges the phone fine, but Apple CarPlay would randomly disconnect. I thought the problem was the phone cable, then the phone, then the radio, but when I finally bypassed this, CarPlay works great again. I just have to use the cable directly from the radio, dangling from under the dash, until I can try a different brand.

> 3 dayAdded a nice touch to my raspberry pi project, (retro arcade) nice thick USB cables and a good threaded fitting to install into a retro computer case

> 3 dayIt does what it does and provided the perfect means to get my USB ports on the dash from my brand new head unit running Android. It actually looks almost stock and nearly matches the safety covers on the other cigarette lighter outlets on my 05 Ford expedition 4x4

Greater than one weekThese had enough length to install anywhere in the dash. They are thick so not worried about things rubbing against them. Came with lots of mounting brackets that I did not need for my particular situation but would definitely make the install easier for some older vehicles or even some new ones.

Greater than one weekThe teeth grove for this USB is too short for Arcade Cabinet that has thicker wood so the ring cant be secure . There are other better USB port with longer teeth for arcade cabinet. Even youre using this for arcade cabinet...do not get it. You have been warned.

09-06-2025I installed this on my 2010 Honda CRV because I wanted a clean and finished look for my new Apple CarPlay screen. I had to remove the existing cigarette lighter underneath the dash which was a huge pain but I managed to get it.
