I love this yarn! Works up so fast, so soft, so cozy. Use at least an L hook, any smaller makes your project tight and stiff. This particular order I had an issue with though - the shipping crew did not check the color lot , so I received two different color lots and now I have to order more to be able to finish my project. Color lots/build dates can be crucial if crocheting or knitting something with a closer stitch or weave because the color, color change (like in ombres or self striping, etc.,) or even texture will be different and can really make a huge difference in your product. Check the color lot/build date on any multiple skein order before you begin your project.

The texture and softness is great! I have used this Bernat Yarn several times before and I highly recommend. However, I ordered 2 balls of the yellow yarn from Amazon and they sent me 2 different shades of yellow. So that means my blanket is 2 different shades of yellow and it doesn’t look right. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars.

I have made so many things from this! There’s a great amount of yarn and it’s perfect for crochet and/or knitting (including finger knitting)! This is perfect in my opinion although it is a little weak to where if you pull on it hard enough it rips, but the overall product is perfect and I will definitely buy again.

Made a blanket

I receive so many compliments on the blanket I’m making because it’s soft!

Once I started crocheting, I was surprised at how much I got out of 1 ball. I ordered 3 & got a crib blanket, 1 for a coach or stroller, 3 child size scarves. There is 5 kids in the family +1 more on the way & every child got something!

Awesome yarn! Easy to use, makes a beautiful, soft and cozy blanket. Also great for scarves. Yarn recommends a size L hook which is good for afghans. I also used a size N for a scarf as it was all hdc and the N worked a little better. I used a combination of Country Blue and Vintage White for a baby blanket which came out gorgeous. I keep buying Bernat Blanket, it works up a project SO fast! Only drawback is that most of the big balls have at least one cut in them. Understandable from the manufacturing process. The cuts are always tied with nice tight knots and all I do is trim the excess around and make sure to hide the knot in a stitch.
