> 3 dayBought this to aid in the collection of multi-colored Asian beetles that seem to invade our home year-round, vacuuming them up from walls, ceilings, and around windows and doors from room to room. The on-board brush that flips into place protects finishes. The motion in the filter actually dismembered most of the invaders. Its light enough to vacuum above ones head at length. This works great to clean cars and the onboard crevice tool extension comes in handy. The battery lasts a long time before charging.

> 3 dayThis is the best hand held vacuum we have had, and we have had many. Time will tell but so far it’s good. Great pickup.

> 3 dayThis is a great handvac. Powerful, easy to empty, compact & the pivoting head design is great! I also like that the attachments are actually attached to the nozzle. No loose crevice parts! So far so good!

> 3 dayIt’s a good vacuum but not a great vacuum. I don’t think the folding feature adds much and the dust door feels flimsy.

Greater than one weekI agree with all the good things people say about the vac., and I have had this vac about a week. It is easy to clean, although debris/ dust collects at rubber flap that has to be finger pulled out. The filter fills up with almost every use and needs to be pulled out and shaken to clean, or can be cleaned with a shop vac, or washed. The enclosed manual states, after its fully charged, you should unplug after 24 hours, which is kind of a pain to remember, plus I store the vac on my floor and have to bend my back to unplug the vac. Otherwise, I really like it, better than my previous weaker hand vac.

> 3 dayMaybe 3-4 months after buying Piviot, the the hinged refuse door that pops open to empty it, busted. . The hinge snapped in places. Perhaps it was me giving the device a couple good raps over the the trash can. In any case those hinges might call for a look see for better construction. But yes! I’m buying it again because I’ve never owned a handheld as powerful and versatile as the Pivot. Maybe don’t rap yours so hard.

> 3 dayThis has incredible suction. Best I have seen in a hand vac. This items problems lie in the design. Specifically in servicing the filter. From factory the filter was EXTREMely hard to remove the first time. It was so tight into its locked in position we thought it was defective. Finally broke it loose but then the filter wanted to un seat when you rotated the pivot point. Had two vacs both the same. This was annoying enough I sent them both back reluctantly because when assembled an in use it was super powerful. Purchased a shark CH901 as replacement and they are wonderful!

> 3 dayWe were hoping that Black+Decker would come out with a Lithium-ion vacuum to replace the Ni-cad fold-able vacuum, which weve had two of and loved them. The only downside of the older version was battery life. This vacuum has more suction than the Ni-cad version. It feels smoother operating (folding, and emptying) than the older version The battery should hold up much better We are very pleased with this Vacuum! The only negative I have is why in the world would a great product ship with flat-head screws instead of Phillips screws!

Greater than one weekVery convenient, youll need a chopstick or something to free lint balls from inside the filter. Not a big deal. Hopefully the battery lasts because theres no way to swap in a new battery.

> 3 dayThis same product was around 40 buck a year and a half ago - corporate greed! The battery is NOT replaceable, of course, so more plastic junk in the landfills. So, we have greed plus corporate irresponsibility. What a terrible company Black & Decker has become.
